Needs to get back above 30p to be starting to look positive again IMO, otherwise we're just retesting resistance, and a move back down again would be more bad news from a technical perspective. The break below 30 was very disappointing, to put it mildly, and only a recovery to around the January high of c.37p is going to make it look like there's a serious bottoming formation being put in. The one consolation is that the stock has not yet traded down to its all-time low of 20p (from 2001). Sub-20p would not only mean a great loss of money for most holders, it would also be a disaster from a technical standpoint, suggesting that the company may be in terminal decline. Personally I think the company's done as well as can reasonably be expected in the last year or so, and is suffering more from the general economic/market malaise and aversion to consumer discretionaries rather than from its own missteps. If the previous management were still at the helm I think we'd probably be at the bottom of the ocean by now.

what I cant understand is why with the director buys, institution top ups and the fairly decent trading updates we are stuck below 30p.

We hit 50p about 6 months ago on the back of nothing and have fallen considerably since then

Well, what a sad, sorry state this share is in. Hopefully, with the interims only a month and a bit away (23 May) we'll see some action before long. Current mag sales in the UK are very strong, according to the latest EPOS figures, so I'm expecting good news when they present the results. Can't come soon enough...

If its any consolation I'm losing a fortune on what I thought were sound investments, DRX, DMGT, GSK to name a few. Market has gone mad IMO.. nothing to do but sit it out I suppose.

24.5p on 8K volume this is f@cking ridiculous

Boffster - I have no cash left, I took a punt on PRTY using my broker margin and it has dropped losing me around £1k so I am stuck in there and I am hoping it bounces back. Looking at BES its another penny share and I am getting stung in NWN already so wont be touching penny shares again !!!!

this would be funny if it wasnt sat on £6k loss

the last trade was supposedly a buy of 36k and yet we are red

where is the bottom because these prices make no sense considering the current trading updates given.

i bought 35K @ 32p a couple of months ago, as things looked up on the up and it also brought down my average cost which was 55p at the time

are they in a close period ? if not, not a director deal in sight. chart is now a horror story. someone i know bought a pretty big lump at 35p (not that long ago) and he felt he had a decent handle on the business and also knows the mgment well. he felt they look v good then.........think i may have to ask him if he wants to average seriously lower. amazing how quickly stocks can fall at the moment - clearly and simply just not enough buyers out there and they (like many others) just get walked lower and lower.

A totally staggering share price! Maybe the market didn't like the company's move into Australia. Then again, there hasn't been ANY significant volume.

While I don't have a position here anymore, I would be thinking about purchasing if I had the funds available.

If its any consolation, small caps in general seem to be being mauled, presumably as nervous investors dump them for safe havens.
