Green neckline of an Inverse H&S is confirmed with an eod close above 1415. tp 1476 Two apexes suggest a potential turn 6/2/2018 | bamboo2
29/1/2018 21:39 | Speculation on future launch of FDEV games in China. Certainly preparing for it with hiring of fluent Chinese speaking customer support hxxps://www.reddit.c | ck1111
25/1/2018 08:50 | Bought a few more for the SIPP | volsung
24/1/2018 15:05 | With the high p/e growth shares the thing that often shows the stand out performers of the future is how well they are bid for when the flash crashes come. I take great comfort in seeing this bounce back from the selloff while other languish. Hopefully a sign of good things to come. | nimbo1
22/1/2018 10:43 | I like the look of maxcyte but to be honest I have sufficient exposure to healthcare through HCM and IBT (plus a tiny punt on IMM), and it is not a sector I have any great understanding of. There have been lots of healthcare companies that seem very promising but come to nothing, such as PRM. Some do well but I leave the stock picking to those who can kick the tyres.FDEV on the other hand has a clear business model and although there is always a chance than a game tails of in popularity or has a poor launch, this hasn't happened to date and it seems likely that they will have a stable of games producing recurring revenue and being added to with a new launch every year and exposure to the huge Chinese market. I can at least understand the risks here and the potential rewards. Good luck though, mirroring (and holding) RMMC has paid off for me so far. | mad foetus
22/1/2018 10:16 | I think maxcyte looks interesting ref stocks which could bag - its outside of my comfort zone but bought some on friday simply because of RMMC which has 5% in it. Any views from anyone pleased to hear them on that board. Not much stock available for fdev purchasers at the mo. | nimbo1
19/1/2018 17:20 | Thank you nimbo1 for your post 1394. Of their top 10 I hold FDEV and TAP. | shanklin
19/1/2018 16:11 | MF between now and June this has to get to £25 or I'll be disappointed...so has to move sometimes. From memory you put a £50 target on it for 2018! Have a good one. | nimbo1
19/1/2018 16:08 | Nice move this afternoon, not something I had expected at all. have a good weekend folks. | mad foetus

18/1/2018 10:22 | Where's the factsheet please? Or what are their top holdings? | shanklin
18/1/2018 10:17 | good to know - if i am honest with myself all my money should just be in the rmmc trust - which I do hold. | nimbo1
18/1/2018 08:10 | RMMC latest factsheet has FDEV as their second biggest holding after TAP. I hold all of the above! | mad foetus
17/1/2018 12:34 | sorry all my last o/t post. Makw thanks for the fst reminder - they've been on my watchlist for a while but hadn't focussed. Bought in this am at 195...now looks like its making a move. | nimbo1
17/1/2018 11:54 | FDEV is still 20% of my portfolio and i expect them to hit £25 by the summer. FY19 revenues ought to be at least £100m at 35% to 40% EBIT margin. Plus we will have news of the fourth franchise. The only real risk is late delivery of JWE, but it sounds from Hastings' article that Braben seems pretty confident still. I did buy a few TUNG shares the other day on news their network finance offering seemed to be gaining a bit of traction. The shares are deeply unloved, they may need a small placing later in the year and Odey is probably a forced seller. But, it has the ability to scale rapidly and the electronic invoicing business is probably worth the market cap to someone like SAP as it is deeply embedded in some global businesses, so the downside may not be that big. Not for widows or orphans, DYOR etc GAW and BQE have done well for me and i expect them to do well in 2018, but can't see them multi-bagging from here. GLA | makw61
17/1/2018 11:06 | I have some investment in FST and am very optimistic for good gains from them this year. They are involved in Digital Radio and Smart Audio (Google Home, Amazon Alexa etc). DYOR of course! | mark4231
17/1/2018 10:48 | I'll have a read about ESG. I think xlm is a good buy now given its at the price of the fund raise. I wouldn't expect fireworks (i.e.10bag!) but if it continues to exceed expectations I don't see why 300p can't be hit by the end of the year, i have been buying since 140 odd. FDEV and XLM are both 15% of my PF. I still think you need look no further than FDEV for the possibility of a large gain in 2018. | nimbo1
16/1/2018 20:33 | ESG is a possibility... | allstar4eva
16/1/2018 20:30 | Anyone got any ideas for any other tech/software/gaming firms that are on the verge of muktibagging like FDEV a year ago? I have a little cash looking for a home... genuine question... and yes I will DMOR...Cheers for any tips. | cyberbub
15/1/2018 10:23 | thanks for the insightful posts. | nimbo1
15/1/2018 00:21 | 22 June is the film release date. Excellent news the game will be out at the same time as that is just around the corner in investing terms. | hpcg
14/1/2018 19:26 | Excellent news. So we can expect JWE to be the driving force behind the May-19 financials and then in the May-20 financial year, we'd have a full years contribution from JWE (plus launches on other consoles?) as well as presumably the 4th title being launched. Think its important as hopefully this year (May-18) will be the last one where there's something of a lull in the growth of the business. On a 12-24 month basis, this could easily double from where it is, and given how much markets have run up, there aren't a lot of companies (excluding oilers and microcaps) where you can feel confident about that | adamb1978
14/1/2018 19:01 | Hastings, thx re the new article. Intriguing quote from the CEO. So now we know we can expect news of the fourth franchise with the JWE launch - and that this will also be well-known and likely pretty exciting: "Braben himself.....also talks of beyond the impending release and says that in conjunction with that, Frontier will also be announcing the title of its fourth franchise. Although giving nothing away on what this may actually be, he does confirm that it will be something that once more strikes a familiar chord with the audience." | rivaldo
13/1/2018 12:01 | Thanks for that hpcg. And 3m would be their total units shipped, including their other 2 titles so the market forecsts look very low. Would be great if there were some comments in the upcoming interims about their plans to get to the point where they have 1 launch per year. They alluded to this previously but once they're at that point, FDEV will look very cheap. For example: - assume 10m games sold per year once they are truly multi-title. Maybe in 2020? - that makes revenue around £200m p.a. - 40% ebit margin (in-line with other gaming companies) get you to £68m bottom line - Puts EPS at 180p, and PE of 8x based on current share price ....and it would be throwing of piles and piles of cash Adam | adamb1978 |
