Ash, Well done for buying when you did.

The chart pattern is a continuation pattern, ie, a cup or bowl. The current retrace from historical resistance is the 'handle'.

Ideally this should remain above 50% of the prior rise, approx. 1180

Breakaway gap and historical support zone exists approx. 1180-1200

Potential turns [x3] yesterday on last price chart

Current tp for the bowl is 1588, confirmed with an eod close above approx. 1360

i watched some of the live charity event on twitch David Braben and Johny Watts could not talk about what was coming, but were excited about the first quarter of the year.

Directors bought before, rather than after the close period for a reason.

Additionally, they did this with knowledge of the sales figures to the end of November.

For this reason I agree with Mark.

My thought is similar to nimbo1's. From watching the Steam Top Sellers, I suspect that Planet Coaster is doing very well (and Elite: Dangerous not so bad either). Then JWE will ramp up before its release next summer plus, perhaps, an announcement of the next game so this time next year the share price will be far higher than it is now - all in my own, gut feeling, opinion.

Very good review here of the "first look" at Jurassic World Evolution yesterday - "Frontier has created some incredible-looking dinosaurs".

I like the idea of multiple islands - this really creates opportunities for lots of different storylines:



Conclusion:

"Working to film-quality standards — and, in some cases, using actual assets from Jurassic World as a base — Frontier has created some incredible-looking dinosaurs. They look how you'd expect them to, move how you'd expect them to, and, most impressively, they seem to behave like you'd expect them to.

They were, by quite a stretch, the stars of today's show, those dinosaurs… which was fortunate, given that they were pretty much all we saw.

As one of the Frontier team said, these are still very early days for Evolution. Once the advertising starts in earnest it should highlight how (potentially) very undervalued FDEV is. JW was a massive coup for FDEV and a significant validation of the business model.

I read half of Bulkowski's book but then got tied up at home, technical analysis is very important along with long term buy/hold method, prefer Mark Minervini's way.

double, I normally stick to daily charts. The main reason is that the chart pattern statistics provided by Bulkowski are calculated for charts on this timescale.

I recommend his website and books.

What time frame do you use on your charts? Is it always daily - I notice Fingers xxd posted a chart the other day on IQE where he used a 15 minute chart?

FDEV going the way of all the tech stocks at the moment - this is certainly not stock specific and possibly a great buying point.

Cheers Mark4231, useful info. The trailer on Thursday should give a useful leg-up to the pre-promotion and anticipation for the film - and therefore the game.
