I had assumed that DLC would just be bringing in some pin money, but maybe it is a much better source of income for them than that. Would help smooth out some of the release lumpiness. Also, this brings them a bit of publicity which might bring in completely new players for the game.

Impressive to see a CFO buying £20,000 of shares at 978p.

The CFO is normally by far the lowest-paid exec director - and the most prudent in spending their money (I should know, I used to be one!). So it's pretty encouraging to see this at these relatively new levels.

Personally, I doubt they'll be taken out early. The acquirers like Tencent seem to put a foot in the door 'early' as they have already done and then purchase when a business is successful. As an investor that seems counter-intuitive but money is not an issue for them. Maybe 12-18 months time with 3 successful games up and running with the further 2 franchises known to everyone.

Games can be massive if they go viral. Game of war Game which was free to play on mobile devices grossed $1m a day according to business insider.

Any thoughts on FDEV as a potential takeover target now Braben's stake has been diluted then reduced.
