"Reviews remained very positive." This game's reviews aren't, and the score is still falling. The game is out of the Top 50 and still falling. Games don't recover from such an immediate and spectacular death. Ever.

Ah my mistake - last time we talked about steam reviews you said 3 weeks was “far too early to tell” 😆. Reviews remained very positive. Toubknow this is a forum for investors? I recommend joining Reddit and making your views felt.

"players seem a lot happier"?? No. That's why the player review score is a lot lower.

And "far too early to tell"? No. In a week or so there will be nothing to tell, given the rate the game is plummeting down the sales chart. hxxps://steamdb.info/stats/globaltopsellers/

You haven’t lost count YH, you live for this 😂. Good conversations on Reddit with a lot of people enjoying the game. Going by your rules, isn’t it far too early to tell with review yet? Ahem 😃

Not happy with the share price myself but certainly players seem a lot happier with this release than the last. 💋

So, F1 Manager 2023 is another flop, at least on PC. Steam review score is a dire 68%, quantity sold even worse - around 7000 in the first week, and FDEV is working flat out deleting customer complaints from the discussion forum e.g. hxxps://steamcommunity.com/app/2287220/discussions/0/3811786028475394870/

Is that five flops in a row? I've lost count.

Encouraging review on IGN -

"8/10 great
F1 Manager 2023 is a textbook definition of what a yearly game should be. It's not just a good racing sim, it's one of the best management games on the market today."

I'm sure Yank will be along shortly to tel us why thats a bad thing 😂

F1 Manager 2023 proves that Frontier isn’t one and done; it’s a championship contender. Race Replay is an absolute show stealer, and there’s nothing better than solving the strategic puzzle laid out for you in a single go. F1 Manager 2023 is as enjoyable to listen to at normal speed as it is to play, and although you can rush at 16x speed for an entire season in an afternoon if you want, it’s far more relaxing to treat it like an actual race and just chill out and watch. F1 Manager 2023 is a deep sports management experience that understands that racing can be a sport everyone can enjoy and, if you enjoy any type of management game at all, you should consider adding this to your collection.

About time. Certain people wil be unhappy.

Interesting convincing breakout on price but light volume. Suggests tightly held and sellers will need a very hard shake or higher price to deliver their shares to the market. I like that sort of situation.

Few times its attempted it. Hoping as ftse might try retest 7800-8, fdev could potentially hit 620-30s?

A decent chance it will break 600p, upwards. TBD.

Ho ho. FDEV's stinky asset register make the balance sheet definitely not flawless. FDEV are now years overdue in correcting the asset register and restating the accounts for the many periods in which they breached accounting rules by capitalising R&D spend, exaggerating profits and boosting the directors bonuses.

You certainly put the hours in YH! 😂

Alas I think Lemonade has very good points but I do appreciate the thought and reasoning, rather than Yank the Offliner's 10 year vendetta 😉

I see simplywall st states "Flawless balance sheet and good value" which Yank missed though there are far more negatives you haven't listed yet YH!

Agreed about the fixing, Lemonade. FDEV ran the beta for "stability, performance and balance", meaning the product is way past possible fixing of its fundamental game mechanics.

"The warhammer game will 100% flop. Makes no sense why FDEV has acquiried this company." This new Warhammer game is not developed by the new Canadian acquisition. It's developed by FDEV staff seemingly stripped from other in-house games, likely Elite Dangerous seeing that's definitely where the lead designer came from. See here hxxps://www.rockpapershotgun.com/warhammer-age-of-sigmar-realms-of-ruins-story-campaign-will-have-plenty-of-meat-on-its-bones

As to the sense of this acquisition, let's hope it's more than on FDEV's previous Canadian studio, which was shuttered after three years of producing almost nothing.

I did games development in Uni and have worked as a software engineer for the past 10 years.

Open Beta's are just for bug fixes. You can't change core mechanics within this time.

The warhammer game will 100% flop. Makes no sense why FDEV has acquiried this company. Yank is right, they should have stuck to their management style games.

F1 Manager 2023 looks like people won't like it in the comments of the trailer, customers loyalty has been damaged and they won't buy it due to f1 22 debacle quite rightly.

You also can't change core mechanics or fix all the issues people had in just 1 year.

I could see FDEV losing the F1 license and the stock plummeting even more if f1 manager 23 underperforms like it could.

Well, FDEV has now deleted that and all the other beta feedback from Steam. Probably wise.

No. I'm not one of the "genuinely surprised how poor this is", given I know FDEV has zero experience of this game genre, setting or style.

Good to see Planet Zoo is still in the sales charts. That's the kind of game FDEV should stick to.
