03/6/2008 21:33 | I agree. Don't subscribe anymore but from memory was tipped at £3 with a 12 month target of £5+ within 12-18 months. Think the tip was 18 months ago!! | vkx

02/6/2008 11:57 | In 2010 All companies will pay Zero Tax in Jersey and unless you are a resident you will have no tax libility - in essence - if yopu are a shareholder of a Jersey company it will pasy Zero Tax from 2010. this should increase the profits available to ALL shareholders - so made maybe it is fair value now. They do however, need to address a fair few problems it seems. | clocktower
02/6/2008 11:47 | made should of kept your money in cey..looks like you f--cked up | csjcsl2
30/5/2008 22:04 | They need to make a profit to benefit though!! | topvest
30/5/2008 13:02 | That is not very nice is it OE - why wish anyone misfortune? DK is a generous man as you know - having given vouchers away over the past two years to the value of almost £2 million in total to large number of penshioners at or near Christmas. -------------------- Offshore Eye - 29 May'08 - 15:42 - 284 of 287 "I can only hope that David Kirch is losing a good few quid on this. Makes up for all the money he made on the Hitchens Harrison shares he mysteriously came by." -------------------- Not all on-line business are working well it seems at present. At this time it would have been good if they had hung on to SG. I expect to see it get worse before it gets better though - history repeating itself. Good Luck DK.:-) | clocktower
30/5/2008 00:26 | Topvest ...... Indeed. Little to say about it really apart from ..... WHAT WERE THEY THINKING ! | offshore eye
29/5/2008 21:17 | And there it is - more bad news. Greetings Direct looks like it has been a total disaster. | topvest
29/5/2008 15:42 | I can only hope that David Kirch is losing a good few quid on this. Makes up for all the money he made on the Hitchens Harrison shares he mysteriously came by. Clocktower ...... I have to agree with you re GST and associated costs. GST is the death nail for Flying Brands competitive advantage regards tax exemptions on low value items. Further profit warnings cannot be ruled out. Hopefully the devaluation of this share will readjust speculators expectations for future growth. | offshore eye
21/5/2008 14:18 | share price take ing off again good plug plant sales i here as we had a very very hot may hope thay hold the divy in aug | made1686
19/5/2008 22:01 | Share price ticking down again. Great company medium term this, but the chances of another profit warning have to be 50% imo. I'll continue to wait on the sidelines. Still no replacement chief exec either. The company seems to be lacking a sense of direction at the moment. | topvest
19/5/2008 18:32 | grab snach and take tax they have that in newzealand funny thay call it that in jersey i think tom said thay pay less tax from 2009 may be gst is less than vat which we have in uk | made1686
19/5/2008 12:51 | Not the best of times for Flying brands with the introduction of GST in Jersey - although most goods are exported their must be extra costs associated with this tax. | clocktower
27/4/2008 22:06 | Well the key point was the passwords. To save all existing passwords in UPPER CASE rather than lower case is the most stupid and basic error I have ever seen. Took me three times to get in on first attempt. A red warning comes on in small type, but I suspect many just give up! | topvest
27/4/2008 11:53 | i use them and think they very good if thay do not do beater some one will take them over ie interfower | made1686
27/4/2008 10:42 | topvest - I hope you've informed the company about this - even if they don't appreciate the feedback, they need to be aware | vkx
26/4/2008 19:13 | The concern is that if they have rolled poor software out to all their internet sites that is going to cause them problems. Can someone else have a look at one of their sites and see whether I am being fair? | topvest
26/4/2008 19:10 | These guys seem to have lost the plot slightly on Flying Flowers which is a real shame. 1. The new web-site is rubbish - worse than the last one - loads of screens and too complex + slow. 2. It saves your old password in upper case, which means it takes a few attempts to get in for the first time. Most will have gone elsewhere. This is a very basic internet error. and to top it all! 3. My wife's birthday flowers didn't turn up on time. First time that has happened. They are going to be in real trouble from a trading perspective if they don't get their act together soon. Real shame as I like this company and have been a supportive customer. Been a shareholder in the past, but looks like there are some issues to be resolved. | topvest
16/4/2008 10:35 | this is looking very good | made1686 |
