It has become a boring share. This may be wrong but I think I am going to run away. Maybe buy back on weakness.

Latest News:

Flying Brands

Take A look at Flying Brands (203.5p). The mail order business is expected to announce a 10 per cent rise in pre-tax profits next month to about £5.8m. Flying Brands is based in Jersey, so it is able to offer products free of Vat.

It focuses on flowers, gardening equipment, audio books and collectables. Analysts believe that these areas have good growth prospects in the UK - for example, Britons spend about £26 a year on cut flowers compared to £60-£100 a head across the European Union. Flying Brands also has scope to make acquisitions - the company has a market value of £52m and is throwing off cash.

The shares had a strong run in 2004, rising by almost 60 per cent at one stage, but have dipped by almost 10 per cent this year. This looks harsh for a business with decent prospects. Buy.

Fly FBDU Fly! I almost feel guilty I used 0800Flowers on valantines day rather than Flying Flowers. :)

My feeling is that results will please, after all the figures are not going to be worse than projected in the Co statement which means the share is cheap. In my opinion we are seeing the start of a rally up to the release of the full year figures on 11th of march.

good luck

The company says there isn't going to be a trading statement - which given the FSA rules must mean that we are OK.
