IMHO until they demonstrate positive results by reducing costs it's unlikely that share price will do much but hopefully at least current share price level will be ongoing support level and we don't retreat into the 30's again!

I can't call the reaction, but I do note that costs rising faster than revenues which is surely a worry.

Jersey agree on Q1, H1 outlook of more interest. Keen see how the capacity reduction is driving cost reduction. Revenue was a couple of points up in the FY update and if that continues through the year impacting the bottom line will be material.

I don't expect tomorrow to be negative. The update at full years results in June was positive, iirc 10% up on implied revenue at that date and improved yields, and an increased % of seats sold. If this is Q1 update the period that it covers is only a couple of weeks longer than the period covered at the results time. So it can't have gone dramatically worse in a very short period.Hodder going to Level is a surprise, not sure if he is being replaced or whether the commercial guy recruited in January is stepping up.

I see IAG have appointed Vincent Hodder to head up Level, the new IAG budget airline.
I think Flybe going to miss him. Good move by IAG.

moneyhedge: we know easyjet had a strike - that could be good for Flybe (alternative airline) but also bad (cant feed to a flight that has been cancelled due to strike)... So I cant make head nor tail of this. Could go any way. I'm in but its a 50:50 coin toss (if you ask me).

I guess if figures not too bad then Flybe becomes a take-over target

Elephant in the room is Hard Brexit. Soft Brexit should lead to industry wide price recovery though - so that too can go either way.

Such big price swings on such low volumes suggest this could crash tomorrow if the news is negative or could move past the Magic 41-42 Flybe are infamous for its negative results however.

Being a small cap nobody is really interested in Flybe at present with outlook looking uncertain you can see from media stories how challenging it is.
