Recent utterances from Stobart CEO Brady re growth in their aviation business.....can't get to those numbers in that time without buying something. Also Stobart can't bid for 6 months since last engagement, which was ended 22.3.18. and Flybe AGM now early September for H1 update.

Jerseyman, as a matter of interest, what makes you think Stobart will be back in play? Good if they were imho

why does it never go to 42p?
Is there a reason it just bobs between 40 and 41
why not 42?
what difference does it make to the mms

Portugull - are these shares performance-based? ie, ONLY awarded if certain criteria are met (an increase to £1 per share, for example)?

I invested in 2010 and I am not happy with over 6 million shares being awarded to senior Staff when the loss making Airline has never paid a Dividend, made multiple losses and made every mistake in the book.
This is really taking the biscuit if you paid £3 a share in 2010.

The board get serious money if they can get the price near a quid within 3 years...

I would be interested to know what happens if a happens now? Will they get the price of the takeover but in three years time?

Obviously FLYBE is still sort of in play and these share options add some mystery to the already heady mix of recovery, take-over and brexit woes.

They have enough cash - it's whether or not they can generate decent profits

Unlikely she will buy more as she bought 250k last year and had options in 1.25m shares.....would be very positive if she did though.....

Phillip Day (billionaire) and Neil Woodford (fund manager owns 20% of Stobart) may have another go at Flybe once the Stobart board settles down

Seems Phillip Day may be appointed chairman of Stobart.
He was named in a FT article as being involved with Neil Woodford in merging Stobart Air with Flybe

"Woodford reiterated his desire for Ferguson to be replaced by well known retail boardroom veteran Philip Day"

wonder if the CEO will join in. Not expecting an operational update until the AGM in september so will be good to keep a bit of momentum going with director buys. A bit more clarity on brexit and a strong £ from an interest rate rise in August would also help to give us a decent run up to the AGM.
