11/3/2022 08:19 | MLB season starting a week late, April 7 so the gap between MM and NFL preseason which has MLB accounting for 25pc of turnover will now not be such a huge drop offTrading update pushed back a week by the looks, bizarrely, given entain was 3 weeks prior, now 4 on Star Wars day | the white house
10/3/2022 11:37 | It would be advantageous if they would stop shooting themselves in the foot! | blue59
10/3/2022 07:49 | The Gambling Commission said Sky Vegas, which is owned by betting giant Flutter, sent an offer of "Bet £5 get 100 free spins" to 41,395 people who had voluntarily self-excluded in an effort to stop gambling. In November, the online casino brand also shared the promotional offer to a further 249,159 customers who had unsubscribed from the operator's marketing emails. | mip55
10/3/2022 07:23 | 1.17m fine for the marketing offfer to 30k that had self excluded. Not ideal but I read that these were not the highest level of those had had proven issues ((Flutter is excluding 7000 a month itself) but those who had opted for no marketing material themselves but who still had open accounts by their own choice | the white house

07/3/2022 19:23 | These are lows that are unlikely to be seen again for the following reasons: 1. Stars write-down of half a billion is one time. 2. War like this will hopefully not happen again. 3. Oil prices likely to fall after war is done. 4. COVID pandemic is over yet people fell in love with mobile gaming and casinos not back to pre-covid levels of attendance. 5. The added value of SISAL and Tomboli are not factored anywhere. 6. The crazy promos in USA are done with. All realize they have to move to profits. | solarman2013
07/3/2022 19:02 | BlackRock stepped in as well today and added to already decent holding 30m quid spent, not too shabby | the white house

03/3/2022 09:13 | A clear pattern is emerging. After all the gimmicks and giveaways when a new state launches, punters move to the best product on the market, which FD has. | pughman
03/3/2022 08:23 | Thanks, it was from proactiveinvestors.c “We are forecasting FY21 group revenues of £5,996mln, and group EBITDA ex-US of £1,267mln vs. guidance range of £1.24bn-£1.28bn, and a US EBITDA loss of £267mln vs. guidance range of c£250mln-£275mln, | blue59

03/3/2022 08:06 | vraetorian28 Feb '22 - 20:29 - 1671 of 1696 0 0 0 "Flutter is first out of the traps on Tuesday and analysts are expecting the bookie to report turnover of £5.97bn for 2021, up 35% on 2020, and pre-tax profit of £628mln, up 530%, while underlying earnings are expected to rise 145 to £1.01bn." Fingers crossed for tomorrow, but it looks like this sector will be an investment safe haven for anyone wanting to avoid the economic impact from the Russia fallout Still need to hear where that quote was from! | blue59
02/3/2022 20:39 | Pls all remember 500M write down is non cash , so flutter is operationally profitable . | solarman2013
02/3/2022 19:46 | I disagree on one point. EBIDA losses for 2022 & positive for 2023 is for US market only. Flutter business in UK, Australia, Europe etc. were supposed to take care of initial losses in US. That was supposed to be the difference between DraftKing & Flutter. DK has no operation outside US & no source of income but Flutter was/is a well established company outside US | harigoyal
02/3/2022 18:13 | For me, this has never been a short term play. We all know " Flutter expects similar losses in 2022 before it turns EBITDA-positive in 2023." Expect sluggish market performance until then. Regardless of everything happening in the world right now, they are still very much on track with this. If you're an investor, it makese sense to capitalize on the stock while it's weak. Given that they've shown substantial revenue gains each quarter. This year may very well be the last you'll be able to pick up discounted shares. | vraetorian
02/3/2022 15:52 | Perfect strom for Flutter. Bad financial numbers. War in Europe. Lots of refugees. Russia & Ukraine totally out. Tax issues at Germany & The Netherland. Many sports events will be affected. Covid is almost over & as CEO said people have other places to go & spend money. | harigoyal
02/3/2022 09:28 | It looks like it would make more sense to ‘invest’ one’s hard earned on a horse than Flutter! This is becoming singularly unamusing! | blue59
