01/3/2022 18:57 | I hope you’re right, I doubled down this morning for similar reasons. | blue59
01/3/2022 17:56 | I am buyer tomorrow. While i did not sell yesterday, i believe we are at crazy cheap prices, considering that no contribution from Sisal nor Tomboli are factored into today’s price drop and that they wont be small positives when they are announced. With FD on track to be a contributor next year, and the war likely abating in a week or two, I believe the entire market is due for a bounce back and that Flutter is best positioned moving forward vs any competitor. Its a laugh to suggest that DK buy Flutter, rather I see continued M&A and possibly plays by FLutter for Wynnbet and maybe even Pointsbet. | solarman2013
01/3/2022 11:53 | Where is guidance on the contribution expected from Sisal and Tomboli? | solarman2013
01/3/2022 11:35 | The Fox dispute - but that will be cash positive for FLTR. The other cloud on the horizon is how much we will be fined by the Uk Gambling Commission for attempting to encourage opted out gambling addicts to return during Safer Gambling Week. This is a second offence , last time we were fined £1m.We of course await the long delayed white paper on UK gambling | mip55
01/3/2022 11:21 | Let the market digest the results. All is not that bad. If the losses are all due to one time cost, stock price may recover in a week or two just as of Draftking. V May close with 10% lose on the day Do v know how many more legal claims are pending | harigoyal
01/3/2022 10:23 | Next year they face a serious tightening of their business operations in the UK market. This type of business, just like tobacco, will always be subject to adverse regulatory interference. Like a lot of holders, I don't intend on waiting around for the next piece of "one off" bad news. | salpara111
01/3/2022 10:02 | Before anyone commits Hari Kari it might be worth looking at how some of the losses FLTR incurred came about and how they were one offsKentucky settlement cost 200m dollars in 2021 plus settlement costs of GBP 163mDuring the year ended 31 December 2021, £22.1m of costs were incurred relating to various acquisitions, the FOX option (see Note 4) and also as announced in May 2021, the potential US listing of a small stake of FanDuel. During the year ended 31 December 2020, £32.7m of costs were incurred primarily relating to the Combination with TSG. The costs were included as separately disclosed items as they have not been incurred in the ordinary course of business.During the year ended 31 December 2021 costs of £45.2m (year ended 31 December 2020: £96.1m) relating to incremental, one-off costs, were incurred by the Group as a result of significant restructuring and integration initiatives following the Combination with TSG.In Germany - from a 2012 Betfair legacy tax disputeGerman Federal Tax Court dismissed the Group's appeal of the tax assessment. Whilst the Group has lodged a formal complaint to the Federal Constitutional Court, it has decided to recognise the amount of the German tax assessment including the late payment interest. This has resulted in an expense of 40.6m (£34.5m) being recorded in the year in relation to the principal amount of tax and late payment interest.GreeceIn 2019, the Group was issued with a Greek tax assessment for financial years 2012, 2013 and 2014, relating to paddypower.com's Greek interim licence. This assessment concluded that the Group is liable to pay 15.0m in taxes including penalties and interest. This is substantially higher (by multiples) than the total cumulative revenues ever generated by paddypower.com in Greece. Pending the outcome of its appeal, in 2019 the Group paid the total Greek tax assessment (including the penalties and interest) of 15.0m. In June 2021, the Athens Administrative Court of Appeal dismissed the Group's judicial recourses. While the Group has further appealed to the Greek Supreme Administrative Court, based on the nature of the decision received and the points of law which can be appealed, and in line with legal and tax advice it has received, it has decided to recognise the amount of the Greek assessment, of 15.0m (£12.8m) as an expense in profit or loss during the year ended 31 December 2021.The Group considers these cost as one-off costs and not as part of ongoing operations in the current year. | mip55
01/3/2022 09:39 | vraetorian28 Feb '22 - 20:29 - 1671 of 1681 0 0 0 "Flutter is first out of the traps on Tuesday and analysts are expecting the bookie to report turnover of £5.97bn for 2021, up 35% on 2020, and pre-tax profit of £628mln, up 530%, while underlying earnings are expected to rise 145 to £1.01bn." 01/3/2022 08:40 | Very disappointing, I'm out of patience...looks like I'm exiting with a loss here. | salpara111
01/3/2022 07:50 | At least there's some good news on the Fox situation As previously disclosed, the Group is in a legal arbitration process with FOX Corporation with respect to its option to acquire an 18.6% stake in FanDuel and related issues. Despite this, both sides have continued active discussions to determine whether an agreement can be reached. While those discussions have been productive and have advanced materially, it remains unclear at this time as to whether agreement can be concluded. As a result, the arbitration is proceeding in parallel with a hearing date now set for 20 June 2022. Should the parties not reach agreement in the interim, this hearing will proceed and we expect will result in a binding decision by the arbitrator in Q3 2022. The Group continues to vigorously defend its position. | mip55
