13/1/2022 20:58 | The OTC listing will remain due to many of the dominate North American banks not trading on the London exchange. While i agree that it's not as prestigious as a listing on a major exchange, it's all that many investors currently have access to at this time. I'd much rather see Flutter up-listed, than a fractional IPO listing just for FD, and as they become more of a staple in US.. that just might be the case. | vraetorian
12/1/2022 15:24 | Flutter is holding far more of revenues than DK or any other in their size. DK just can’t continue to offer promos AND retain so little of the take. Entering any market takes initial investment, yet you can’t have a viable business model if you are at least not retaining enough profit once those promos abate. I just think FD is killing it, has already foreseen reductions across the US of the promo craze as the market matures and has said that to the public in one of their recent results announcements. They have the formula down right, DK does not and so that’s why FD would be worth far more than DK once IPO in the USA. Many investors just don;t invest overseas and don’t even know the name FLUTTER. They also need to remove that OTC listing….not good for branding at all.. | solarman2013
12/1/2022 14:54 | In order to achieve and maintain brand recognition and acquire and retain customers operators are continuously offering special offers. They are generally highest in the first three months of any launch in a new state and, once market share has been established they tail off. As a broad rule companies generally expect to begin making a profit roughly three years after launch. This article, although a little out of date, quotes FLUTTER explaining the balance between customer acquisition costs versus anticipated customer lifetime value......https://www.o | mip55

12/1/2022 07:29 | More details of that Citi note:Citi upped its rating on Paddy Power owner Flutter Entertainment on Tuesday to 'buy' from 'sell' as it said it was "increasingly bullish on the size of the US prize".In a research note on European gaming, the bank said it forecasts a long-term EBITDA opportunity of $9.3bn, which was double what it expected at the same time last year."The revenue generated in states that are open is more than we had predicted, a greater number of states have launched/proposed regulation for online sports betting than we had forecast, and we expect a US EBITDA margin of 30% medium-term," it said."Further, we expect Flutter and Entain's dominance to continue, while Evolution's product quality will drive its strong US positioning."As a result, it said the value it ascribes to the US has increased 40%/24%/45% for Entain/Evolution/Flu | mip55

10/1/2022 15:30 | I am not sure who you were addressing, yet to your point, NY is going to be simple volume for a while, until the promos fade or some of the weaker players bow out. The tax rate is not tenable, yet for the moment we can call this a "real estate" play, not so different from Amazon, who for years lost money building up its audience until it hit a critical mass which led it to the profitable side. There are many steps left in gaming in the USA, including cross border poker, more states jumping on board. The larger the volume, the more overhead is spread, the closer to profitability FD gets. I believe that the FOX situation hangs very heavily over Flutter. It is really amazing how many issues they got out of the way in 2021, with that one done, a clear path to IPO (my belief) is set. The time will also give the FD CEO time to settle in and be judged more fairly on her performance. Is the the right CEO of a US Listed Public Company? Time will tell. | solarman2013
10/1/2022 15:11 | If you had bothered to check my posting history across the boards I post on you will find that to be another alternative fact, worthy of one of TWHs.I make no apology for calling out some of the blatant falsehoods posted on here and , yes, I have long held the view that NY is akin to a circular firing squad for operators. They should have collectively told the State to take a running jump at that proposed tax rate and then watch them crawl back and renegotiate but we are where we are now. I just do not believe the euphoria is justified. Denying the truth does not change the facts. | mip55
10/1/2022 14:10 | FD will lead the pack, add lots of volume to its toppling helping to absorb overheads. Last weekend must have been explosive volume for FD. The three games on Sunday were amazing, two of which were so close to the end, keeping gamers on the edge of their seats. With Caesars failing, they surely lost people to FD and others. DK is a challenged beast. Maybe on day FD buys them once it IPOs. That will happen and the market will continue to consolidate over 2022. | solarman2013

10/1/2022 12:03 | I provide quotes to back up my statements. You, on the other hand, seem to rely on whatever pops into your head ( IPO and first mover status in Ohio ring any bells? )Frankly anything you say - unless you provide a link to support it - will be taken with a very large pinch of salt in future | mip55
10/1/2022 11:41 | Meanwhile, let us consider that New York New York has the strongest set of pro sport teams in the US.
