AddedEnglish & foreign football results are best of the season. With Flutter indicating they have no issue with early Sept results this weekend will be huge for the books. With the Chiefs failing to cover with 90pc of the cash & 3 other losers at odds on the NFL in Oct off to a flyer also.Flutter must have done well in the Q as they had enough excess cash to bring forward the payout on Europe as winners in the Ryder Cup after the Day 1 whitewash thus enabling it to be inc in Q3 figures...

I currently trade my flutter shares on TD CANADA TRUST yet it costs 10x in fees because you can’t trade LSE yourself, must go through an operator. I would hope you can trade the LSE shares for NY shares, yet not sure

Curious to know if any Canadians here have reached out to their investment advisors regarding how the additional US listing will affect their FLTR shares currently held on the London Stock Exchange?
(I understand most banks in Canada don't trade on the London Exchange, so I'm curious how they will proceed here)

Q:: Will they be sold on the london stock exchange, then transferred to the US? (Incurring a capital gain tax for the year?)

Or

Will they continue being held on the London Stock Exchange until the Primary listings is moved?

Any info would be greatly appreciated, otherwise, I'll report back once I've setup a meeting with an Advisor.

Agreed on update notification. I think while DK has focused on top line FD has been diligently focused on bottom like. Nov 9 is a month and a half away. It’s like they are looking forward to the disclosure …

Kentucky online live today, FD ahead of the game with links to Churchill Downs racetrack which has had their in house Sportsbook (& 5 ? Other sites) signing up punters for 3 weeks now

They have seen the issues with others, that is why they issued an early RNS today re Q3 trading update which between the lines states unlike the other two we do not need to come out with an early trading update as all is well...

the process of getting listed in US is a long road with a lot of speedbumps - i am confident that they are doing their utmost to get listed as soon as possible. I am more worried about the general macro-economic climate which sees companies such as 888 and Entain managing expectations re their earnings. If you look at Flutter's performance and delivery in this context, things are looking rather bright

Press Release today : .It is not how the relatively simple secondary listing (not a far more complicated IPO launch) is now set to a certain date (as we stated then it would be Q4) and we are sorry for the delay after we referenced it just 7 months + ago on Feb 14...No it is about a community donation.The longer it gets delayed the comparison numbers may be less than ideal after last years Nov/Dec World Cup boosted Q4 to monster levels. As the Group previously had and ditched a Nasdaq listing for Stars shurely providing a level of level of knowledge I am bemused by the delay

Good spot. Less than 100k monthly users in a country of 6m and is not even top player there. Diverts attention of techies away from developing apps here which ie William Hill has overtaken and also kicks any divvi further down the road. FanDuel has added over 200k app accounts in first 3 weeks of NFL season so this just seems 100m that however it does is not going add much at all

Another difference is entain continued buying of small add ons to divert attention integrating etc which Flutter stopped 18 months ago to expand/market core major assets and brands demonstrated by the increasing dominance of FanDuel as well as Paddy Power and SkyBet

I disagree with their adverse sporting results in Sept claim with doc written with two Sats of month to go and monster NFL wins overnight for books and English football (70pc of world betting is football) having had a usual run of winners mixed with draws and upsets in the monthStrange call from them and I expect no such repeat announcement from Flutter/Fanduel

dunno if there were any self-proclaimed experts here. Just people investing longterm in a company that is doing well. If anything this is madness of being a public listed company; the self-proclaimed experts are those that are unrealistic in just how profitable the company should be.....

New York Post has a nice story about FD laying 200/1 on every NFL match Sunday pm having a field goal. DK were just 30/1. It hitIt seems that not only did they lay for more than usual 20 or 50 max Special Bet levels one guy had 600 bucks and then was allowed another 700 bucks winning 140k & 170k on same account. After noting bets they did not pull promotion just reduced to a still wrong 130/1 increasing liability further. Poor odds laying and even worse system risk controls and management.Worrying

Analysis out of a US firm is guiding that up against a long term average of 9pc the first two weeks of NFL are likely to come in at 13.6pc and 11pc hold. FD always (bar 1!) exceed this When you add into the September/Q3 mix the launch of Kentucky which could not have gone better with the states most backed team the Chiefs losing by a single point at odds on with tens of thousands of opening account bonuses riding on them. Break even point massively reduced in time
