With these stellar numbers from NJ in Q4, I'm more confident of FD reaching FY 23 guidance. It's fascinating all these numbers coming out from different states, FD going great guns in many, but struggling in Massachusetts and Kansas.

I think I’m right in saying that the reason why Fanduel’s hold percentage was materially down across the different states for November (last week specifically) was that they took a $13m hit on an accumulator bet (forgive English terminology) on 4 players scoring a touchdown on 30th Nov. Edit - just realised that at least 1 of these games was on Dec 1st so guess this explains the low NY hold for that week (as a % of revenue).

Glad to finally see a solid date and that they picked the NYSE instead of the NASDAQ. If perception matters, companies listed on the NYSE are seen as more stable and well-established- Far less volatile than the Nasdaq.

Good news on listing. Revenue in NY in Q4 is down on last year as you say. After an indifferent Q3 they maintained yearly guidance for FD, which will be a challenge.

NY Nov take last year 646m this year 925mRake last year 78m this year just the 69mPunter friendly results in the area ( if countywide tbc) but huge growth in turnover will take to over 1bn for the month in Jan & March 2024. Only 2 months hold this year of 11 are lower than last year. Impressive NYC igaming will be massive if sorted

With a Q1 New York launch an announcement can be far away & visibility of last years Q (inc WC) compared to the current and previously opened states becoming more profitable as months roll on should ensure top data output to go with debut
