Ohio, October numbers. FD, handle $258.6m, revenue $31m. DK, handle $258.7m, revenue $28.6m. Total promos $38.7m, compare that to Jan 23 launch promo of $320m. From what I can see of various states reporting, FD is regaining a couple of points market share. As for the new entrants, early days but Fanatics have made no impact and ESPN BET are upsetting punters with their parlay t&c's. Online sports betting remains a two company carve up.

RKeck - I shall indeed reflect on it as I'm rather baffled how you got an exclamation mark to mean mirth! That would be :-) or LOL. I get no joy from other PIs losing money, if I'm right (and like most other posters it's just my opinion) they could either save money by getting out, or make money by shorting.
My view is simply that a market cap of 22b, PE Ratio of -73.73, and 300m loss are the only important figures, market share and turnover aren't as FLTR sell a commodity to a customer base that can change provider in an instant to the next one offering, unsustainable, loss leaders.

PERHAPS lODGEVIEW might now want to move "OVER !" to post on Flutter because "their number is up" at the BINGO site TOMBOLA they own. The FT "reports redundancies" and some staff absorbed into Sky bet or Paddy POwer.

Flutter gambled that by bottling out of a profits warning when first ENT owned up then 888 they could quickly turn the tide by going from game-keeper to poacher ( and by being silent GAMBLED on a pick up in performance.

The poacher got caught and their is no sighting of a RAREBIT of good news

But as they say in the Indiana Jones film "they chose poorly"

@thewhitehouse just shows how little alignment there is at times with what is feasible and realistic to achieve with a business in the current marketplace, and what traders expect should take place. Crazy.... Almost wish for Flutter's sake that they go private

In my view ,the results are very strong,delivering on all key metrics.Yes,the punters won some bets,it happens and good for business long term.That 50 million and 30 odd million in fx headwinds is no big deal.FD continuing to lead the way.
