30/4/2002 18:20 | Thanks Fanta | balto
30/4/2002 18:14 | any thoughts on this one folks? I know it's been ramped all over the BB's but forming a very interesting bullish flag pattern bounded by the 150 and 200 dma's. Almost too perfect, even the volume is textbook... Watch out for a breakout on volume - would also be a break through the 200 dma | marting1
30/4/2002 17:36 | bvm, and it is a tmt stock too! | melfaraj
30/4/2002 13:11 | Melfaraj - I realis that the share isnt quite over a 52 week high but the speed of the recent rally and the fundamentals - P/E of 8 debt/equity ratio of 50% and the fact that it is in a sector (construction) that is undergoing a revaluation makes me think it will breakout | rjmahan
30/4/2002 12:51 | rjmahan, mcty is a very good choice. and on a shorter time scale it is certainly a breakout. however if you go back a year or slighly over you will find that the share had topped up at its present level. so, if the share is to break through its present level it would be a very decisive one indeed. i believe it would break through its present level. the rise in the price today under increased volume is a further indicator to this. | melfaraj
30/4/2002 01:35 | here is 4 stocks to mull over when u have some time, check out: FCCN AXN OKR CEY | wholden
29/4/2002 22:46 | don't mean to be flippant, but I am mostly cash. closed my few longs on PYM and LII today, still running SPA and WUN long, sold everything else, and upping shorts. a weird time ( sham I apologise if I have become weird and subscribed to the doomsayers, too much buffy no doubt) ape | theape
29/4/2002 21:11 | QXL; is it a valid break-out??? | balto
29/4/2002 08:22 | ski, going sky high! and is in the right sector too! | melfaraj
29/4/2002 05:39 | Cheers melfaraj, already had, just nice to have a second opinion. Cheers Dave | dave50
28/4/2002 17:14 | dave, yes it is, over a 2 years period it describes a nice smooth saucer. the smoother the shape the better it is with saucers, ignoring the short term jaggardness. the household sector has been gaining ground. so after checking some fundamentals you may well find that this one is a share worth investing in. | melfaraj
28/4/2002 13:41 | melfaraj the chart that I was looking at was RON (sorry I tried to post it, but failed) over a 2 year period, looks like saucer to me, care to take a look, and tell me what you think? Cheers Dave | dave50
27/4/2002 15:14 | Allow me to draw both BATS and BLND to your attention. The latter has, I know, been mentioned before here. On Sherlock Holmes' basis of the dog that didn't bark, has RTO lost its shine? Just 'something for the weekend'. Indieman | indieman
27/4/2002 14:52 | Not really a chartist but take a look @ HHO. 200 Day is just levelling out, high recent volume. At a 10 month high. Might not fit the criteria exactly but looks only a few weeks short of making the lot. CR | cockneyrebel
27/4/2002 12:53 | ffy, you have to be bannan heads not to see this one. the recent dip does not help though, but any development that takes the share price to levels above the present would result into a clean breakout. | melfaraj
26/4/2002 20:01 | Sorry not as technical as you Guys/Girls but some coments:- 1.DCS has broken through it's barrier of 40p today 2.MFG volumes substantially higher today Hope it helps DYOR | avoint
26/4/2002 17:55 | dave50, as with all ta, you need to use your imagination. but going through chart examples posted in this very thread you will see it, in some examples it happened earlier on and the stock is now in a different phase: ba., aih, fsj, aih and last but not least the mighty one of dnk. dnk's took some two and half years to complete, no wonder the stock is flying;went up today by over 21%. like with all these formations, the longer they take to materialise the stronger is the signal. a formation of less than one month may well be insignificant. | melfaraj
26/4/2002 16:26 | Nice inverse Head and Shoulders, finished on its highs on heavy volume on the back of news. Buying interest not satisfied yet. | goodfella
26/4/2002 16:14 | I seem to remember Schabacker covering this pretty thoroughly, though I don't have the book here with me. Details are in post 21 on this thread. Definitely a Must Read book for TA, imho. | zzaxx99
26/4/2002 16:05 | Could someone point me in the direction, to find some information on "saucer" bottoms. I have read Murphy's, but only gives a brief description. Thanks in advance. Dave | dave50
26/4/2002 15:48 | and 'sun' is rising! | melfaraj
26/4/2002 09:43 | 'cost', very nice indeed. | melfaraj |
