11/5/2010 20:30 | felch - 8p in the last financial year, and an interim of 4p for this tax year (though this was paid so that major shareholders would not get clobbered by the new 50% tax rate, FKL usually just pays a final dividend and no interim). | ![]() eburne1960
11/5/2010 12:57 | Thanks Whackford for your response, my thoughts were similar, however I had not considered the possible boom in local economy! Going to buy a few and lock away! | crimeprotection1
11/5/2010 11:28 | Does anyone know the dividend with FKL? I'm looking at this as a long term investment in light of events in the NFB. | ![]() felchandbart
10/5/2010 17:14 | Crimeprotection - the downside has now radically changed with the RKH success. Before that I would have said about £2, perhaps a shade more. You can get to this figure either from the balance shheet, or by stripping out the FOGL element. Assuming RKH 's find is developed, we will see an emerging oil industry in the FI. This will radically alter the value of FIC (Falklands Islands Company) 100% owned by FKL. We will see retail, housebuilding, insurance etc all boom. IMHO FKL is very underpriced - it sometimes went over £5 when we were years away from "getting a rig". | ![]() whackford
10/5/2010 15:13 | ig is not taking spreads online atm, something tells me things could pick up drastically from here | sco77harris
10/5/2010 14:43 | Not a concern for me, Rockhopper's find is just the start. Sit back and watch. Decades of business in this for FKL. | ![]() gwr7
10/5/2010 13:25 | What must be the downside here with diappointing drill results, £2.50-£3.00? | crimeprotection1
10/5/2010 12:03 | once more people catch onto this share, it will rocket, and with fogl drilling next gives you a great link to hopefully promising results. | sco77harris
10/5/2010 10:14 | Just purchased 300 shares at £4.115 early on this morning. Stock purchase seems a bit difficult and was held over from Friday and only accepted on 'fill or kill'. | ![]() noirua
07/5/2010 16:30 | If FOGL strike oil what will FIH's 8% holding be worth then? Answers on a postcard. Seems way undervalued to me. | ![]() babylon3
06/5/2010 21:17 | Definitely looking good, expect to see further discoveries over the next few months. Topped up this morning after the RKH news... GLA | ![]() techtrend
06/5/2010 18:27 | Rockhopper are already talking about an additional well adjacent to Sea Lion. I can imagine things really booming in the Falklands. Obviously FGL should be treated as a long term investment. | ![]() hyper al
06/5/2010 17:20 | Thanks Babylon seen it now. Will be good to see next good results from another of the exploration teams. These will take off then!! | keithfagan2
06/5/2010 15:57 | Bought some more myself this AM also. | ![]() babylon3

06/5/2010 12:40 | Fantastic!!!! Made a killing on RKH, only got them this morning at 39p! Just got some of these! | ![]() hyper al

08/4/2010 08:56 | Moving up again. | ![]() babylon3
06/4/2010 18:47 | After DES's recent announcement I think it's looking even more promising for at least one major oil discovery (DES, FOGL, BOR, RKH) sometime this year. Just a bit of patience required, but looks like a good entry point here to me. That's the good thing about this co., it will benefit regardless of who makes the discovery. | ![]() techtrend
30/3/2010 16:41 | Don't make me mention PLA...... | ![]() eburne1960
29/3/2010 23:47 | oh dear. lo-q would have been the better bet | ![]() glennborthwick |
