You would think that some of these BOD's would have a little pride wouldn't you.

But clearly its a lot easier to keep wording RNS's, running roadshows and appearing on investor interviews while using other people's money, than it is to use your own, mortgage your house and then eat humble pie at the bank to try to get another year's loan extension.

Agreed, I only have a tiny holding here now and that's written off. Constant misdirection and flowery rns destroy trust, almost has that tern feeling about it, although at least this lot are generating some money but miles from sustainable subscription revenue.

A while back I could have given you a really impressive "two-minute drill" on why this was a stock to get excited about, but after endless failings, broken promises and a chronic lack of delivery I have no bull case left here. You can go on about "hot sector" and that but to me you may as well be flushing your cash down the toilet. Until I see some MEANINGFUL revenues this is going sub-3p again imo.

Opodio, those institutional investors will be in it for the long haul. There were no private investors in the last round. So there is nothing the market is awash with.

Massive supply at 3p from the many millions of shares placed at 3p and many will be trying to get out
could be stuck below 3p for years
only compounded by cash burn which remains too high

All IMO DYOR

From May 2017 falanx have raised approx £10,500,000 in approx 18 months, I see nothing in the midterms that points to a slowing down of this management strategy so another £10,000,000 over the next 18 months seem IMo very possible for the reasons below.

There seems to have been a major shift in the business model which may result in another extended period of expensive restructuring, as falanx transitions from a company handling a low number of large companies buying multi year, personalise contracts worth hundreds of thousands pounds to the now expected 1000s of small customers with contracts worth as little as £2,400 per year.

From comments made it seems the current facility to handle 300+ customers cost £2 million. They have already stated the need to expand the facility to service the expected increase in customer numbers (possible 1,000 to 2,000). imo it may take more than £5 million investment, which may result in the cash burn being north of 500k for sometime. The other issue for me is the margin on these low value contracts (£2,400 PA) even at 40% it is £96 a month. It going to take thousands of these low value contracts to make a dent in the current 140k a month cash burn and this is before the additional overheads associated with the expansion.

That is me for a while, unless we get news.Just my view of the current situation, hopefully the EOY will have good news and prove me wrong. Time will tell.

I think there should be a new term for companies that keep issuing shares.

"Rabbit shares"

When you're not looking they multiply.

Note today market advised in an RNS that Unicorn Asset Management Limited appears to have SOLD one third of its 12% holding.

Is this dilution or SELL OFF?

SolarWinds: Future... Falanx Plays an important part in solarwinds future So what's the next logical move? He points to security - where the company recently acquired TrustedMetrics for real-time threat monitoring and management software. Moreover, the company is making an access rights management push. The goal, which adheres to SolarWinds' well-established playbook: Deliver powerful technology at an affordable price for the entire market.Still, SolarWinds is careful not to hype the security opportunity - especially when addressing MSP partners that are evaluating a run at the MSSP market. "I don't think every MSP out there is ready to become an MSSP," he says. Some will make the journey, he says, while many MSPs will align with larger MSSPs.With that point in mind, SolarWinds has partnered with Falanx Group in Europe and Secuvant in the United States as part of a two-tier MSSP-to-MSP partner strategy. Those MSSPs are expected to gradually offer threat monitoring services to MSPs.At the same time, SolarWinds will continue to build that 360 degree view of the market, listening closely to corporate IT managers to describe what they need both internally and from service providers, he adds.https://www.channele2e.com/business/finance/solarwinds-ipo-chief-revenue-interview/

All this emphasis on msp looks good for Falanx...SolarWinds MSP's annual recurring revenue (ARR) stream is expected to surpass $225 million by the end of 2018, according to SolarWinds CEO Kevin Thompson. The MSP software business is one slice of the larger SolarWinds IT management software pie. The overall company is striving to generate $1 billion in annual revenues or so by 2020.https://www.channele2e.com/channel-partners/msps/solarwinds-ceo-reveals-msp-software-revenue-stream/

This is an early stage business. Raising just enough cash for a small period of time so that you can bank great news and get a higher price is not how it works. The risk would be that the deed takes longer than you think and you then need to do the same again. Cash raises are time consuming and distracting so do one which will last and give your business the time and space to concentrate on the job at hand....growing value.

ALL IMO

Re the new investors having additional positive information.

I assume if falanx management were expecting to release positive news flow in the near future, they would have delayed the share issue or raised just enough to cover 6 months cash burn 1 million or so. The fact that they issue 4 million pounds worth at these low share price levels leads me to suspect that management are not expecting any major turn around in the short to medium term and this could be the high water mark for a long time.

time will tell

I reckon the best approach (risk-wise) is to assume that any good news that is not very specific, means that it is not as good as it seems !

This has been going on here for ages.

I remember ambiguous statements about new contracts involving MidGard, which later on indicated that it was existing clients being MOVED onto MidGard.

Sorry, I mean 'on-boarded' ;-)

Oh and by the way, if anyone thought that FLX have started acquiring copyrighted logos, they haven't. The new speak has declared that 'new customer' will from now on be replaced by 'new logo'. Anyone using the phrase 'new customer' will have a spell in a re-education centre.
