Right now Russia’s income is based around the very high gas prices compensating somewhat for Europe’s reducing gas purchases.

By this time next year Russia likely won’t be selling any gas to Europe so the high prices won’t help anymore.

Long term (a year or two) Russia is bust.

If by any chance you were referring to the President (and former President and Prime Minister) of Russia:

(a) your details are now on a file, and the financial and other consequences for you may be more severe than you are capable of imagining;

(b) his domestic popularity and approval ratings are at all-time highs, levels which your corrupt Western puppets can only dream of attaining;

Probably when Putin throws in the towel, unless he decides to go tactical nuclear. He needs to be replaced with a stable government, which is asking a lot from Russia. I've taken a big hit here so have no option but to wait it out. I'm sure I'm not alone. Good luck to all.

Up until today, my holdings in EVR were showing a value. Now in the value column, it just says N/A. They are held in a HL ISA.

Exactly, and they will have the ISA wrapper for me, so if they trade and I sell, I wont be open to CGT. Others that have moved form ISA to Certs, should have waited really.

Following the Termination of the Company Registrars and removal of the Evraz shares from the UK Settlement System, we can confirm that all holdings of Evraz shares have now been transferred into certificated form.

As your shares are held in our nominee account, we will hold the certificate on your behalf.

Please note that certificated holdings are not eligible to be held within a ShareBuilder account. Therefore, in accordance with our Terms & Conditions, should you hold the Evraz shares in a ShareBuilder account, we will shortly be taking the necessary steps to transfer the shares to your ShareDealing Account.

No fractions of shares will be transferred. As fractional amounts cannot be held in your Sharedealing Account, all fractional holdings will be rounded down to the nearest whole share. If you do not have a Sharedealing Account, we will arrange for one to be activated on your behalf.

If & when they are open for trading (hopefully) you will not be able to sell your share through Computershare as they will no longer be the registrars, Evraz will maintain the registry so you will have to sell through them direct, but nothing has been set up yet to enable you to do this, I suspect everyone will be informed later regarding such arrangements. At present you can't do anything

They came from HL
So they automatically went across to computershare
Can i just sell them on computershare website
It shows my shares there and says certified

Just registering with Computershare does not qualify you to receive a paper certificate

You will receive a paper certificate if this was requested from your brokers / nominee account and paid for before 19th Aug, £35 + Vat (although this would depend on who you were with)

If not, your shares will only be held electronically

If you have requested (and paid for a paper certificate) you should receive this at some point, there will have been a number of people requesting paper certification as piece of mind and you may have to wait up to 2 weeks to receive.

If you did not order a paper certificate from from your brokers you are too late I believe as the cut of date for such requests was the 19th Aug (from memory)

Computershare are the current registrars but are soon to be no longer involved as they are terminating their registry and any share dealing will have to be done through Evraz who will be maintaining their own registry. You will not be able to sell your shares through Computershare as Evraz is currently not trading and by the time they are (hopefully some point in the future) Computershare will no longer have any interest as registrars

Should i have recieved a paper certificate to?? Or the shares on computershare all
I need??
I can then sell on computer share?

Nice thought Tuvart, unfortunately as far as I can establish there are no current short positions, unless you have some specific data to the contrary
