15/5/2024 07:34 | REVENUE & GROWTH OUTLOOK • Recurring revenue from OEM customer platforms with 950K deployed ‹ Massive growth in fixed wireless OEM business including selection for 2nd gen product as visible in H1 results • Enablement of FPGA NIC and UEP solutions * Active discussion on porting into eASIC The statements seems to be purely future revenue. H1 may well mean H1 24 as that is when the first G2 revenue was booked. Remember the delay in getting the hardware for both this and the European OEM development. But that is semantics. Whatever happens the Tarana activity is clearly growing. A year ago they were not covering entire cities in one go like Cleveland. Something important to realise is that 6Ghz base units are completely useless for rural applications. The longer the microwave length the shorter its range. The 6Ghz base units are for urban and city settings. Massive power but short range. The sales of 3Ghz units snd 5Ghz units continue elsewhere but also rising. | purchaseatthetop
15/5/2024 06:35 | When talking about massive growth in FWA revenue, they were partly looking backwards, they go on to add as visible in H1 results. Sadly nothing here is visible,no one knows whats going on, even with Tarana. Its inconceivable Tarana is anyway dependant on a financially distressed micro company, their fate in not in Enets hands, thats obvious. | blue square
15/5/2024 04:34 | Looks like Verizon might be the next comms company getting ready to deploy Tarana. “But it's unclear how exactly Verizon might grow its FWA business beyond its current goal of 4-5 million customers by 2025. Executives in the FWA space have said that growth can be achieved by deploying more spectrum or more network infrastructure. Verizon has said it plans to grow its millimeter wave (mmWave) FWA product starting later this year. During the company's recent quarterly conference call, CEO Hans Vestberg said Verizon would deploy a mmWave FWA product targeted at multiple-dwelling units (MDUs, or apartments) later this year.” This was covered in the recent Technology Letter “Because of how little revenue fixed wireless brings in relative to the enormous capital expense to provide the service, “we continue to believe that its market impact, as well as its ability to generate incremental growth for the TelCos, will be limited,” wrote Moffett” “There is a prospect to grow beyond that WISP market. “There's a lot of larger guys that are putting us through the paces right now,” says Alwan, without disclosing names.” This is only me theorising but there is simply no way the big boys can grow their FWA numbers without Tarana. When DL says “massive growth in FWA revenue this is why. | purchaseatthetop
14/5/2024 22:11 | Any news on Tarana? | countbasie1
14/5/2024 20:26 | Of course Tarana revenue is flowing. In the Feb 24 presentation he stated huge growth in FWA revenue He stated that they continued to serve existing customers He stated that in H2 25 a new G2 revenue stream is starting He has told us quite a lot and the fact we left TSP means it must be pretty material revenue. Tarana are in full on growth to go to cash positive Q4 25. I expect a final cash raise in the next couple of months. DL could claim he has told us plenty. | purchaseatthetop
14/5/2024 20:12 | 'We know they are still core to Tarana. Nothing changed there.' So Tarana revenue is flowing, therefore. Six weeks time and we'll be in Q3. | eeza
14/5/2024 19:24 | If Enet are core to Tarana, there must be some safeguard for Tarana if Enet go under. | blue square
14/5/2024 19:21 | We know they are still core to Tarana. Nothing changed there. | purchaseatthetop
14/5/2024 19:16 | 5G delivered nothing. Same sort of tech applied to broadband access in the most booming of markets might be different. Hope so. | purchaseatthetop
14/5/2024 18:02 | COLLEGE STATION, Texas and MILPITAS, Calif., May 14, 2024 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- ISP Supplies, a global distributor of telecom equipment, and Tarana, creator of next-generation fixed wireless access (ngFWA), officially announced their partnership to expand the reach of Gigabit 1 (G1) — Tarana's ngFWA broadband platform — around the world. | purchaseatthetop
14/5/2024 17:47 | We simply don’t know. Remember there are bad debts of some $1.6m that may be collected. Also $440k owed on the two Q4 23/Q1 24 contracts Plus licence payments on a larger portfolio of offers. Plus whatever Tarana G1 sales have been so far. But if none of that has happened then death would be close. But then why would both the court accepted TSP exit or the creditors accepted delayed payment if there was no real path? | purchaseatthetop
14/5/2024 15:52 | But the timescale for that scenario is approaching. | blue square
14/5/2024 15:18 | "New contracts or bust it seems".No kidding, I didn't know that | marky60 |
