21/6/2023 19:45 | 10 x 18m EBITDA. If the business was more reliable they could have got 15 x EBITDA but the outages that keep occurring will put off the infrastructure funds | lpavlou
21/6/2023 15:18 | But the airport is still losing money and Esken are running out of time easier to take it off the administrator that bid it up in the meantime , or perhaps buy the debt and have the airport as a swap. Where do you get £175m for renewables from ? | fenners66
21/6/2023 08:43 | Net debt of 290m. 50m of non core assets to be sold. If they can get £175m for renewables this will leave them with 65m debt and the airport. At current share price company is only worth 17m. If they can sell the airport for 165m, these shares will be a 5 bagger. They need to sell it for 95m for current shareholders to get 3p back. Take your choice. | lpavlou
21/6/2023 07:22 | Those results were so bad I couldn't even be bothered to do my usual analysis to weed out the "bad bits". When I look back some years ago at the dividend that attracted me to look at them in the first place and decided it was not sustainable people on here at the time saying the dividend would be paid until profitability kicked in. I said that profitability was a long way away.... Never going to happen. | fenners66
21/6/2023 07:07 | Annual report today confirms the inability of the board to run any of its own businesses. SLA being marketed- Renewables being marketed. The former aircraft leasing business still needs funds, the disastrous Stobart Air (an exercise that no-one thought would work) died and continues to bleed. The only bit of good news, a logistics business has posted a balance sheet gain because someone else is running it competently. I hope everyone notes who these characters are and never finds themselves in company with any input from them. | roddyb
20/6/2023 20:40 | £9m that was written down to £0 in the accounts. Looks mainly like the lain being repaid rather than much equity value in the business. Positive move anyway | lpavlou
20/6/2023 08:12 | Some cash due ? Maybe pay off some directors then... | fenners66
16/6/2023 16:57 | A large investor has blinked and sold 27m shares today which is just under 3 percent of the company. | lpavlou
16/6/2023 11:39 | will drop at results day ? | blackhorse23
16/6/2023 09:27 | Passenger numbers are up substantially UP for the majority , so why is this dog of share priced for near term flushing, what a shambles of a BOD. | jotoha2
16/6/2023 07:33 | Market expecting bad news next week when they announce their results. Not the results themselves but the update on selling all their assets and whether there will be any money left for shareholders. One for the brave. Any good news could double the SP | lpavlou
13/6/2023 16:04 | In the 3s. Could be a multi- bagger or end up with nothing. Risk is probably to the downside | lpavlou
12/6/2023 22:25 | Bought more HARL today | blackhorse23
08/3/2023 18:31 | Someone is bailing out today. Can they really sell the airport this year or will they hold on for another year. | lpavlou
06/3/2023 11:48 | I posted this on here on 5th August and got three down votes. No up votes."Looks like it's over for Esken.I regularly traded it as Stobart when it was 100-200p. Took a big loss when pandemic hit though - think I sold out at about 30p.So sad. Seemed full of promise with challenger airports and energy from wood waste.Looks like an inexorable drift down to zero. Looking a lot like Debenhams share price chart as it fell from 500 to liquidation. One for the short term traders only."I am genuinely saddened by what has happened to the company. How the management ran so many promising initiatives into the ground is a travesty. | paa65
06/3/2023 10:30 | Everything here for sale, company will soon be delisted | blackhorse23
03/3/2023 07:57 | Perhaps they have seen all the quoted businesses on these exchanges that have no business activity but still pay directors and want a piece of the action | fenners66
02/3/2023 21:18 | So the director’s are saying we can not run a business so it’s best to sell it at any price to keep our wages coming in | lyceeuk
02/3/2023 20:01 | Not a great time to sell the renewables division given the recent closures. Not sure how many people will be interested in buying the airport, given it will only be used at a fraction of its capacity this year. Can't work out why they haven't sold their non core assets yet. Will there be anything left for shareholders after the debts are paid. Not sure. | lpavlou
02/3/2023 16:22 | £50 m still sitting in the bank , lets hope this lot do not go for a fire sale , will be interesting to see the value here . | jotoha2
02/3/2023 07:33 | So everything is for sale ? | fenners66
02/3/2023 07:24 | Unstable trading updates!! Looks like the company is struggling | blackhorse23
02/2/2023 08:46 | Well that was short lived , BOD need to be changed here. | jotoha2
02/2/2023 07:35 | So the trading update only mentions the renewables getting worse, did I miss an announcement about getting rid of the airport somewhere ? | fenners66 |
