The £10 million raised will soon run out on legal advise alone. Cost can and will probably go well above this amount, the only saviour would be insurance cover for this type of claim. Do EQT have any cover?? NOTE: This will not help if they lose the case!!!

The timing certainly leaves a bad taste - especially as the shares purchased @0.45p also on the 9th are not even in accounts as yet.

How in hell's name can you donkeys compare a patent challenge to the BP disaster. Nasty bunch of known venom enjoying the pain of others.

halfpenny: I remember the BP fiasco very well. 11 lives lost. A US drilling rig with US equipment, in US waters. BP had the rig on charter. BP were held accountable for the disaster and it cost them over $20 billion.

EQT will be impacted long term as it may take years and the outcome may be worse if the US courts go against EQT as their bias is for US companies to win. As a minimum it will be very very expensive to defend with no guarantee. Its a sad day for EQT and its great management team... its a very sticky wicket with many headwinds impacting progress and forcing a downward share price as negative news flow. Sad very sad for a british company....

What a disaster for all those sucked in by the pump & dumpers. And I would expect seeing as the company must have had wind of this as it was filed on the placing day, when investors put millions into the company, that private law suits may follow

EQT have a massive issue with US company filling a suit in California. BP had issueS and it nearly broke the company as US lawmakers assume you are guilty and its for the company to prove innocence which costs millions. £10 million raised may be wiped out on legal costs!!!! Arghhhhh
