Well I got the Gavin appointment totally wrong - I thought he would be a safe pair of hands. Perhaps it's HR related or he was pushing the company into a cheap takeover. That said it looks like a 10% sp fall is unwarranted.

I concur with you. The only time this SP goes up strongly is when there are takeover rumours…otherwise the market does not seem interested. Would not surprise me if we are around £7 tomorrow.

I'm not surprised the SP is dropping like a stone at the moment. The Australian problem and the Flutter profit warning means Entain is an obvious shorting opportunity. All we can do is hold and wait for some good news. At some point the shorters must reverse their positions at which point I expect the SP to recover quickly. There is also the possibility that the lower it goes the more attractive it becomes to a takeover bid, probably from the U.S.
