30/11/2017 16:34 | With a World Class asset, they may have other things up their sleeve and a series of other announcements. | bishopawn
30/11/2017 16:33 | If this is allowed to flow at full force for a number of days that is a lot of wasted gas. They would not put it into the pipeline before testing it...Having googled this most are talking hours of testing rather than days....does anyone know.!! | bskiny1
30/11/2017 16:32 | Definitely time for some news. | short6
30/11/2017 16:23 | Very plausible bishoppawn - but why not rns that's what they are doing | pb01
30/11/2017 14:50 | If I remember rightly, the flow testing involves an initial flow of gas for a relatively short period of time or a few days, then shutting it down for a longer period of time and then letting the well flow gas again, and this tried and tested procedure ascertains/confirms the sustainability of the gas pressure and long term flow rate going forward. If so, this may explain why they are taking their time RNS-ing anything. They have had very strong initial gas flow rate, and now the well is shut down, before the next flow test and then, if all is hunkydory, the gas goes into Californian grid, and then sales and immediate significant cash flow for the partners. 30/11/2017 12:14 | A gentle reminder !Empyrean CEO Tom Kelly commented, "Empyrean is excited to confirm that, based on ourinternal preliminary analysis, Block 29/11 contains prospects of truly significant scale andsize. That the three priority targets have a cumulative mean potential to contain 591 millionbarrels of oil is a great early result from the 3D seismic data recently acquired. We willobtain better resoluion and imaging from the full processing of data, a process which isunderway and the results of which will be announced in due course, but these early resultsgreatly exceed our expectaions and the data quality is excellent .I quite like the last line "but these early resultsgreatly exceed our expectaions and the data quality is excellent" .! I understand there were also multiple lookalike targets within this block that had to be analysed. I look forward to hearing about them. This update is due very soon. Gaz Bisht stated that they should have this update around Christmas. This is not to be over looked for those not informed. Take your positions ! And as I have stated before with Indonesia priced around 12p this is a fantastic buying oppertunity to get in early on the the China Block 29/11. GLA HT | hang ten
30/11/2017 10:32 | nobody knows, certainly no indication in SGC shareprice, or the other partners. for all we know they could have done the other shallow sand, and be half way through the x targets. If the result is the same as the first, imo no need to put more rns's out.. nor would I want them too, would cause too much trading.. Im just sitting tight and hoping they keep going till they have some commercial gas, then rns | currypasty
30/11/2017 10:26 | MOTR, Who says that they are now on a prolonged flow test? Nobody to my knowledge | judijudi
30/11/2017 10:24 | They didn't bother with prolonged flow testing on that though JJ. | mark of the rushes

30/11/2017 08:07 | Sargasco's owned meter station nearby the well head, can take up to 20 million cubic feet of gas per day, nice clean dry gas.... That equates to up to $60,000 of cash flow per day. The total recovered gas from the whole Dempsey prospect amounting to 1 Tcf (perhaps more) will equate to $3 billion of cash flow over the life of the reservoir. | bishopawn
30/11/2017 08:02 | o/t NUOG got to be todays bagger. look at the market cap and todays update. 100m barrells. £8m cap and £3m in cash ".PRESSURE recovery is STRONG" 100m barrels | timw3

30/11/2017 05:58 | From the 2017 AGM PCL Presentation ( + look at Page 10 of Presentation ) “This is an exciting time for Pancontinental. We now have confirmation of the much anticipated drilling in Namibia. Currently we are also testing a potentially significant new gas discovery in California and we have commenced an appraisal well to evaluate another large gas discovery there” | bushman1 |
