I would want all the core samples laid out and measure the total length

It is very puzzling the more you think about it

Agreed, there is not much ordinary shareholders can do. We have to rely on Tom Kelly to ask all the right questions and examine the core samples that came up very carefully to see if they correlate with what the seismic suggested would be the strata encountered at each depth. If there wasn’t any on board independent monitoring during the drilling then we should all be very concerned as to what may have taken place.

Duped by the Chinese in some way or was it all legit? In some ways it's just history and really need to put all efforts into Duyung for now.

not forgetting they stated they detected methane at similar concentrations to successful well in the region!!!

And how did Gaz get it so wrong with access to CNOOC data and updated 3D? Commercially is always a major risk but can't get my head around no oil at all with those increased C1 gas clouds.

There seems to be a growing list of ‘events’ with EME that should make Tom Kelly very suspicious about what may have been going on. I hope for our sakes that he is up to the task, with his shareholding he should have plenty of motivation. The missing deposit, speed at which each phase of the drilling appeared to happen, the logging whilst drilling decision, to list just a few. Was there a team of independent observers on the drill rig? If there weren’t, why weren’t there?
TK’s gushing praise for all involved before the drilling and during it did seem a little premature. Why did he think that was necessary?

As everyone else has already expressed , the drilling result was very disappointing. The previous RNS confirming the gas clouds gave further optimism, so my only question is where is the gas coming from? Will the analysis tell us more?

I think P&A and no further SCS development are built in and expected. Can’t see it but any potential future possibilities have been discounted imo

Don't overlook the inevitable P&A nosedive coming up!! Even when expected the MMs always do us over.

"We plan to conduct a thorough analysis of well log data before deciding the next step in Block 29/11."

I hope they also plan to conduct a full market debrief so that we can understand why this didn't come in on prognosis.

Don't look a gift horse in the mouth. Sell into the pump and dump. If these people are silly enough they deserve to be left holding the shares.

Be careful.

The $2m fraud doesn't help in raising questions about speed of drill. Just think we need to wait on EMEs take of wireline log analysis.

It's a pity that our AGM isn't in the next week or two. I would like to ask some questions about how a 26 day drill was done 10 days early? and, of course, how the hell were some people able to sell the day before a bombshell RNS?
This whole business doesn't inspire me with enough confidence to stick around for any other drills they may intend to attempt. Sell Duyung, pay us off and let us all go on our merry way.

Granny, it's what somebody would pay per mmscfg while it's in the ground, and with the production costs, pipelines, wells to be completed, so it's not a case of selling gas into a pipeline, hence the sale price per mmscfg would be much less and dependent to a large extent on the price realised at the end of the pipe. "If anybody has knowledge of sale prices for flowing gas"

Just read SOUC results and they state "they average realised natural gas prices of $5.55/mcf" ..

Transact...great figures, except for one thing...$3 in the ground, do you have any comparables as a benchmark to give you such a valuation? I did something similar over a wide range of valuations from $1 to $3.50 and tried to find data for the value of gas in the ground but could not find anything.
If anybody else has any knowledge of sale prices for proven flowing gas that would be great (remember we have 3 wells drilled which were flow tested) so it's not a comparison with a non flow tested resource. These are recoverable reserves.
