Personally I would have refrained from commenting on the Chinese companies involved in the drilling.. This in Kelly's statement ...

'SUCCESSFUL' !! Yes for these companies, they got paid whatever the outcome.. No wonder CNOOC wasn't getting involved and paying nothing until it was proven up..

Well said mate, I haven't sold any either. little point at this price, I will wait and see what the company decide to do going forward.

I was totally shocked this morning at 7am, was somewhat concerned with the drop yesterday but that's life, keep going with the day job then.

I have every sympathy with the large holders especially Toon et al and lets not forget Tom and Gaz, Tom had 88M, perhaps at some point we may get more detail as to why with gas clouds and being so upbeat there was no oil and is Topaz now gone, I guess big dilution to get it drilled unless CNOOC take a big slice of the cake, after all we have done all the work to date.

Finally Conrad get that GSA sorted been years, not good enough.

well said Toon. Aspirations down the pan but still live to fight another day. Had to tell the wife to stop looking at houses, gutted for her. I did de-risk some between 7-11p and moved them into Coro so still tied to Duyung and awaiting a very good GSA and CPR. 2p at Coro and she can start looking again :-)

That "drill bit stuck" rumour should be investigated IMO. The timing was too coincidental for it to not be related to insiders unloading.

What it provides is a getout; a backdoor excuse to say you were spooked by a rumour online and sold out.

Hopes of a retirement this year dashed! Very disappointed but no point having regrets. Like Tom and EME, time to re evaluate, make decisions and move forward.

Sick to stomach here, especially after the gaz clouds seemed to confirm decision to sit tight and not derisk.

Poster on Telegram makes interesting point that only 15% of shares have been traded so far on this duster. 95m is huge volume by normal standards, but it does indicate that most people are sitting tight.

C'mon Conrad. Help us out of our misery.

I cannot believe our bad luck at first attempt,has been shot down ,
perhaps not forever,
I had recently been adding for grandkids,,,money for uni,etc,,oh well.
Bad luck so far,but not quite the end of the world,,
At least we don't live in the Ukraine,,poor people suffering.God Bless them.

Gutted like the rest of you guys at todays outcome.I chose not to de risk so have to take it on the chin.Best to step back now give the grey cells time to recover and wait for the next update.I do agree with Judi and others though that selling Duyung is the best option and something I have felt for some time.We should recover from these levels once the initial understandable emotion is replaced by level headed analysis of shareprice against possible valuation of the Duyung asset.Gla.

Eagle Pool, Glantel, Sugar Kane / Loaf, Riverbend, Dempsey. The only real highlight over the years has been Indo. Was really hoping this was the one. Oh well. Added a few this morning as I don't think this is the end of the story but not sure I have any appetite for any more campaigns.

Fundamentally, the model here is wrong. Leaving Jade aside. Going forward, they need to swallow the bitter pill I3E did and actually build a production based model. Then, when in a stronger position, they can afford to push the boat out with riskier endeavours. In my opinion, the equity here is likely to suffer more trouble. They will need to raise or refinance. No idea about Duyung, but I wouldn't count on it anytime soon. Agree, Tom Kelly should gracefully move on and allow a new team to come in and build a stable platform.Cash
