22/12/2021 09:03 | Yes jemjem I agree the placees were aware of the cyber fraud in CISL server which was the cause of the delayI think First Equity who took part in placing released a certain amount of shares to the MMs like Shore cap or Peel Hunt they had been selling up in the weeks before at up to 7.2/7.4 so they squared the books away I can't see any of the other placees dumping they are in for the drill get started on the PR Tom hope we can get it in the newspapers over the holiday season and once drill is announced spud date confirmed well maybe even Begorrah will be happier even with your holding? It's all to play for now as judijudi says the drill bit will determine what happens also if Duyung is done with GSA soon that will more than underpin the price | thetoonarmy2
22/12/2021 09:00 | 'The bank issue will resolve itself in time' that is quite a bold assertion jemjem, the investigation has only recently started?Unless you know something we don't.I take it you were one of the placees to be able to make the statement about them being aware of the deposit problem. It obviously wasn't market sensitive information or he would have had to tell the market as soon as it became apparent (beyond me how misplacing that size of money is not market sensitive!)I'll stick with my own theories as nobody has yet provided an explanation as to why the stock is unloved by the market. | begorrah88
22/12/2021 08:55 | 43 degrees in Perth atm. Flip flops, shorts, tee shirts and shades for a proactive interview with Mr K? | the donald
22/12/2021 08:46 | begorrah, Your "musings" on here are often very wide of the mark. ALL the placees were made aware of the deposit issue. Since there were several dozen of them, that added to the delay in announcing. It is testament to the strength of the investment case that, despite this, TK raised more than he was after and still enough to drill. The bank issue will resolve itself in time. Imo | jemjem
22/12/2021 08:38 | Beg , Cant see the deposit being a big problem. They have frozen the bank account and are on the case. Insurers have been informed... COSL continuing as planned... | nametrade
22/12/2021 08:30 | Whereas I think it most certainly is the placees.Quick 10% profit no risk, in & out, & always another TK dilution just around the corner to repeat. If the placees were serious about being in for the drill there could have been covenants about when they could sell. There weren't.Also got to winder if, when agreeing to take part, they were even aware if the deposit problems? | begorrah88
22/12/2021 08:16 | I get the feeling there are a lot of T trades closing rather than sells coming from participants in the placing. Seems to me a tad irrational for HNWIs to back EME based on the presentations Tom has clearly had to make to convince them to invest. They wouldn't, imho, be selling shares in the low 6's for a measly profit. They're in for the drill success, for Mako success and one might expect that they have deep enough pockets to ride out any short term price fluctuations. T-traders on the other hand would have expected a surge in the share price and will either have to buy the shares or sell even more than the original trade to cover the original cost, assuming they were taken out when the share price was c. 7p. aimho dyofr | lazarus2010

21/12/2021 19:08 | That's a lot of assumptions there blueblood.... IMO unfortunately I cant see much share price uplift as spud doesn't do much these days and GSA should hopefully clear overhang. Maybe a bit more... Looks to me double figures will be a struggle before anything meaningful or substantial. After all the funding news was supposed (according to some here) to do 12p wasn't it? look where we are. Think we have to be realistic here. Also on top of all that I think we have to get used to lower share price expectations in light of all the bloody greenies. Of course they cant see that they are the instigators of the climb to $300 oil due to their no fossil fuels but no plan either mentality. | nametrade
21/12/2021 15:10 | The point is a good proportion will be in sticky hands and if say 1/3 rd are looking to flip that's 20m. We have probably shifted a fair bit of these already so don't think we have massive overhang maybe 10m? | blueblood
21/12/2021 14:48 | Nearly £4 million is quite a lot of shares at 6p a pop from where I’m sat It’s over 60,000,000 shares | judijudi
21/12/2021 14:17 | £4m is hardly massive overhang especially as would think at least 50% will hold into spud and beyond. | blueblood
21/12/2021 14:07 | The reason the share price is in the doldrums is massive overhang from placing. There is a large element of dilution from placing. It's Xmas and people are switched off from market until beginning of Jan. No point in starting PR until first week in Jan and hope that well survey completed and spud date announced and GSA at Duyung. Then price will start to motor. | buzzzzzzzz
21/12/2021 14:02 | Colin Stein/Clown Your target only achieved by placing at 6p, nothing to do with the chart. Likewise if good news announced on Duyung price would have jumped much higher nothing to do with chart. Using charts to short a share like EME with lots of positive news too come is extremely gutsy and carries a lot of risk. | buzzzzzzzz
21/12/2021 13:49 | Yes but where to shove it… | birotop
21/12/2021 13:44 | What about a long piece of bamboo? | blueblood
21/12/2021 12:33 | I could do that on a single breath Toon, snorkle's not much good at 340m ;-) | lazarus2010
21/12/2021 12:30 | Laz you fancy putting flippers and snorkel on.:) Block 29/11 is an offshore permit that is located approximately 200km South East from Hong Kong in seabed depths ranging from 340-600m. | thetoonarmy2

21/12/2021 09:58 | Toon, it's shallow water, they could put a diver down there to watch where the rig's legs go!! | lazarus2010
21/12/2021 09:57 | well some people think it's a BUY, 1 x 100k & 2 x 250k, unless it was a rollover? | lazarus2010
21/12/2021 09:35 | The well site survey is also out of TK hands it's contracted to COSL to do this when they feel it is safe to do so, apparently the swells last week were as high as 8 metres for a couple of days need a max of 1.2 mtr to use a ROV anyway I believe the weather is predicting a lot better end this week so maybe we get some news. | thetoonarmy2
21/12/2021 09:12 | Duyung is out of his hands. The bloody drill isn't. C'mon TK, what are you doing to shift the placing shares? | the donald
21/12/2021 09:08 | Should announce well site survey underway and get that long awaited Duyung update sorted! | blueblood
21/12/2021 09:06 | Tom Kelly needs to do his job and yet the PR machine in overdrive. Biggest drill of the companies history and it is one of AIM's best kept secret. Tom ,you said you thought you had a 1 in 100 chance in securing this licence from the Chinese the last time I met you and Gaz. You should be shouting from the rooftops that you did overcome the odds and secure it and you are about to drill it. Little old Perth based EME could become a mid sized producer.......Buy Malcy some bacon butties would be a start and do a podcast with him. He seems to like you for some reason, play that limited popularity. | the donald |
