Wave heights are variable over time. The statistical definition is calculated as the average height of the highest one-third of the waves experienced over time. Swell waves are the regular, longer period waves generated by distant weather systems. They may travel over thousands of kilometres.

I find it spoils the BB when there is just the one poster who continually starts all the name calling

No real change to the Align research note on Duyung operations only compared to Dec 2020, although it does confirm that HOAs have been signed with Singapore buyers ( plural ). So at least x 2 export GSAs plus a DMO with the host government in Jakarta. This is consistent with the rumours mentioned by toon & jem. The latter mentioned that one of which is with a so far unnamed major player, probably in addition to Sembcorp. Gas is supplied to inter alia major power generation and petrochemical companies. During the current 22 year GSA, Sembcorp paid $16.8/mmscf to Premier which was three times more than paid by Jakarta.

"Positioned to supply gas to Singapore where premium prices are paid due to its lack of domestic production. " ( Align 6 Jan, 2022 ).

Coro stated last month that:-

" Duyung has the potential to provide a powerful boost to the Indonesian economy and provide energy security in Singapore ".

This indicates the likely tremendous value of the Mako field during economic production up until 2050 or so. So Duyung is very unlikely to be sold by EME anytime soon and if at all, prior to first production in 2024.

Regardless of the lack of meaningful new ops information on Duyung PSC, it is refreshing to read more accurate posts today on the other project after the false start yesterday evening on the rig location and the error strewn posts by the judas goat on the weather & site location on Monday, which was corrected by another poster.
