The rig is on the move. Now travelling at 2.3kts in a NE direction.

I suspect it is loading up. First time it has moved in months.

Will keep monitoring.

Quite often you make your own luck
And there is bad luck and there are bad decisions
Turning down another chunk of Mako to get involved with Dempsey was a bad decision
It could be argued that Riverbend was bad luck

blue...the poor weather is autumn to early winter...should have cleared by now and be much calmer...but it's not!! If one did a risk analysis for drilling, on the rhs of the matrix would be Covid, Poor Weather, invasion of Taiwan...we've had 2 out of 3 so just waiting for the 3rd one to fk us up!! EME/TK the unluckiest company/CEO on AIM!!

The well site survey not the drill! If they were targeting mid December spud the well site survey should have been done in November.

Blueblood why would they drill in October it’s in the known bad weather window the good weather window is December to May.
And as we have seen the weather is atrocious all over the world COSL will get it done when they get safe weather.

absolutely no idea, but it's a turnkey well, so COSL have to make a decision if there is no calm weather forecast in the foreseeable future, as the cost of not drilling would be much higher (to shareholders!) than using a bigger ship...if that actually makes a difference and makes it possible?
