If that was the case , it would be reasonable to expect the " directors " to pay themselves more moderately until they have actually built a profitable technology led company. They are presumably milking the company now in case they fail to build a profitable technology led company: not nice.

The bonus scheme unlawful as it came about after a previous unlawful scheme, this will be dealt with in due course.

The company has wasted millions on director churn and compensation this wall all need to be addressed in due course.

You are correct they are not promoting the company and that is unlawful. The company run for its management.

The company paying themselves excessive fees has taken investment from the company that is also unlawful.

About this time last year the company had about 7 sales staff dedicated to Checkit and were asking staff to market the product at every restaurant they visits so says one of my sources. I must get some updates from my large network of moles.

By the way it sounded desperation when they encouraged staff to talk Checkit when out for a meal!

Who the hell is going to take his girlfriend out for a meal and ask the waiter what they use for food checks, the owner or chef will be too busy dealing with customers than wanting to talk paperless food compliance.

The idea staff would be prepared to do all this is evidence they simply do not have enough marketing spend and or want to risk marketing spend.

If Checkit was on dragons den I suspect if this company gave a marketing spend figure the dragons would be thinking the company was in cuckoo land.

Though I have a good insight into most of EKT operations this particular product may be of interest in relation to litigations due to the amount of investment.

The company has already had to redevelop the model despite not winning substantial contracts.

My understanding the manufacturer is a third party is that right!

What concerns me is there where many players before EKT jumped on the bandwagon and had been in the arena 15 years prior to EKT launch and the amount invested and three years down the line no significant contract news.

I mean look at the large food chains, MacDonald's, Restaurant Group, Spar, Kentucky Fried Chicken, to name a very few not one big name won. Its a waste of time bragging about a fish and chip mobile what sue is the revenue from that!

Same argument will be with the use in a residential home they need a large PLC with hundreds of homes not the odd one.

Unless the company win a big chain soon it looks its going nowhere.

The other problem is the recurring revenue model, I was an investor in a number of years ago, they though they were going to corner the market but it didn't prove to be effective with cheap purchase of navigation equipment.

To be hones its not mind blowing technology, its a basic probe, sensors and wireless equipment which transfers to a programme in a computer. The fact that Checkit is paperless makes no odds when there are other manufacturers out there doing exactly the same thing and have been doing it longer than EKT.

If they don't win a large contract soon they will have to decide what to do it's costing a lot of money and they haven't the money for a huge marketing spend.

Checkit was a product out of Digitron and was designed in 2012 that's 5 years, and since then with the exception of its method of reporting, little has changed, last year the handset they were using was old and stopped being supported by the manufacturer, so they have had to look for a replacement, what about the stock of old handsets they were holding, an exceptional this year?

Its all very well Checkit demonstration talking doing away with pen and paper however there are established companies out there doing the same thing. Having looked at some of their competitors checkit doesn't seem any better than their competitors.

I agree that Bulgin is worth more as a standalone business than the rest of the parts however whether or not you consider one is getting Checkit for free is questionable.

Its cost our company millions thus far and its been in operation over 3 years and yet to win a substantial contract.

So why haven't the company won a substantial contract so far?

At some stage the company will have to decide how much to keep ploughing money into the company they will have to substantiate the cost. They surely cannot be given much longer 3 years is a long time to prove a product.
