Ha Ha Ha - Wait to buy what you need from the liquidator - Far cheaper (imo) Selling assets to fund cash flow - Jury still out as to whether new products will become long term cash flow positive - they might - in which case your scenario could come to pass - If not then "cherry pick" might be the route. But who knows? From the last update.

God its so predictable. England lose yet again and Pat kicks off against everyone.. Quite how you can call spec a loser when he sold out at a profit and you spend your days slagging off the management and the company and anyone else who crosses your path while losing millions here, i'm not sure ?
Lets be quite clear about one thing. You are invested here because you want to be invested here and if you don't like the management then tough. Quite frankly i am now starting to have sympathy with Daley and Wilson.

Spec7 not sure where you are coming from I do think there is a game plan, which Daley has for himself and certain large shareholders particularly Kinder, I say that because he is part the concert party.

This company has been engineered by Daley since he managed to get himself appointed to the board.

Ask yourselves why the turnover of directors and in particular FD's has been so extraordinarily high ? The whole focus of the company has been about getting turnover down, profits down and share price down. Anything that looked like it might turn a profit from Hartest has been sold off asap. This is not bad management !! no one is this bad. This is about running the company on empty and the major shareholders are happy to reward Daley highly to keep this on the bottom.
Think....about ...it !!

When I was talking with Rototherm one of their directors told me they were not impressed with Checkit, if it fails and there is no evidence thus far its making anything like the money expended thus far for a decent return Daley will have no excuse!

This has always been the problem with Elektron its been one man driving this company and if anyone questioned him they were removed.

The thing is people have been going on about all that is wrong with Elektron for years. The market knows, investors know, the staff know and i have no doubt the management themselves know but for whatever reason the major shareholders are happy to use Chuckit as a vehicle to absorb any profit from the company and keep the share price down at rock bottom. It obviously suits their needs to have a money pit like Chuckit to the extent it must be becoming slightly embarrassing it's now so obvious.
I think you would have to be slightly lacking to think a company could form a stand alone sub company like checkit, pour millions of £'s into it with no obvious sales or likelihood of it ever repaying its costs...and expect people to believe this isn't planned. Think about it ;-)

People like Kinder Perloff and Graeme Edwards did not get as rich as they are by backing people like Daley unless they have an ulterior motive/reason.

If I remember correctly there was a bid of 10p per share for the company but this was rejected by the BoD.

There was subsequently a rights issue at 5p per share and D&A Income Ltd has been the main beneficiary
