10/10/2019 08:45 | Looking extremely good this week . Happy days | code12 breaker
30/9/2019 16:11 | If you read the most recent RNS (25/9) you will see: "A further circular and notice of general meeting in relation to the Tender Offer are expected to be issued shortly". | sharw
30/9/2019 11:37 | I wonder if anyone can tell me when the share buy back will take place, I thought it was supposed to be September, and how shareholders will be notified. | rar100
25/9/2019 14:20 | If you buy EKT shares now @ 54.5p and sell 2/3 back in the tender you will be getting into Checkit @ 33.5p a share. This is a mkt cap of £20m for a company with £14m cash. Hat, you are forgetting EET which is expected to make a profit of £300k next year, if they don't sell it for £3m beforehand. That leaves Checkit and Next, which was bought only a few months ago for £10m on a combined valuation of £3m! | jombaston
25/9/2019 11:40 | Tiger - I calculate 59M shares in circulation post buyback which gives a cash value of 22p (from the retained funds £13) I have not taken into account any existing cash.We bought Next for £10m so 17p (at 59M shares)Total value (not considering the existing Check it value) 39pCheck it will have annualised REV of £11m and may or may not make a profit FY20. | hatfullofsky
24/9/2019 09:10 | Well done Keith daly and staff .your doing a fantastic job Keep the money rolling in . The question is , is that not a QC Simoan happy or unhappy . you have to laugh out loud in stitches don't you. From riches to rags. | code12 breaker
17/9/2019 15:46 | My numbers suggest a share price based on approx. 60m shares and net cash of 15m of about 35p To sell 40,000 shares today = £22.000 to sell 26666 at tender 65p = £17333 and therefore the 13344 shares left should be worth at least £22000 ( current price) - £17333 cash received so 4667 pounds that's my calculation. | castleford tiger
14/9/2019 17:13 | A red letter day! | bwm2
14/9/2019 15:14 | SO WE CAN SELL 2 out of 3 at 65p? Tiger | castleford tiger
03/9/2019 15:57 | So , a name change in the offing . Rather points towards the intended direction of travel. Oh and yes to the CEO and yes to a buyback. sort of. | wad collector

19/8/2019 10:19 | Well done Keith and all the staff , you are doing a great job . Keith and co , enjoy the money , you all deserve it . EKT ,what a wonderfull run company . | code12 breaker
19/8/2019 08:02 | You may learn nothing is ever simple at EKT I guess with a smallish investment let it run on Tiger | castleford tiger
16/8/2019 20:15 | Can't say I'm really surprised, good news is rare these days. Not long to go now... Equistone rings a very distant bell i think, have you googled it? | rar100
09/8/2019 12:53 | rar100 A few points 1/ The buyer is Equistonepe.....ever heard of them ? 2/ Management plan to repay most of the net £95 million to shareholders, but retain some 'to drive the future growth of Chuckit'. Interesting that nowhere in the 15 page circular do they tell you just how much they will keep and how much they will give back to shareholders ? 3/ At a share price of currently 55p, the current market cap of EKT post-announcement is £105 million. This exactly matches the gross consideration, so we can conclude that the market values the remaining business and KD's prospects of making a go of it, at ZERO, even though EKT has just bought Next for £10 million and it was supposed to be profitable ? 4/ The top three have inexplicably awarded themselves £7m of shareholders money while transferring responsibility for this too the remuneration committee who they know will pass this regardless i would imagine. | blackss
03/8/2019 18:12 | code12, I read about the chap that was bankrupted and feel very sorry for him especially if he would be looking at 3 to 4 million if he had held his holding to now. Awful. My holding cost about 4k in June last year at about 36p and so I'm happy with the investment - so far... Well I have read the proposal document and presume the sensible thing to do is to sell a proportion of EKT shares via the tender offer which may be 65p as stated or whatever is the price at the time (hopefully not less than I paid). My Interactive Investor platform states interims are on 19.09.19, but the document says the results are expected in October.... I guess that I'm going to have to check the EKT website in September to see what they say re: the tender offer etc. It would be good to know views on Checkit - the product and the new proposed company and also if shareholders are intending to sell shares via the tender offer. | rar100
01/8/2019 17:46 | rar100 , If I were you ,research this yourself .thats my honest advice . One shareholder that had shares in EKT and posted on here ended up bankrupt . Its all on the internet and some old closed threads also info on here as well . | code12 breaker
01/8/2019 13:27 | My this board has got busy and pretty nasty sometimes... I'm someone who doesn't know the history/background to the past of EKT and a fairly new investor via a tip from Investors Chronicle. I would welcome views as to this latest development, I don't know if it's good or bad. I know Bulgin products and was one reason, probably the main reason why I invested and have read a little here from people not thinking too much of Checkit. So I'm not sure what to do! I have made a small profit and notice the share price lower today (but today is a bad market day), should I sell? I printed off the blurb but yet to digest it all, not at all sure what 'returning majority of net proceeds to shareholders by tender offer entails... I look forward to comments and good luck all | rar100
01/8/2019 12:20 | roddiemac2 Your welcome . | robot ic1
