well i,ve taken my 22 points here,support at 240 looks very good in spite of the fall on the ft. 240 at the mo. is solid,they did try to get it under this morn, but it needs to close under 240 for me.

they've 'committed' to the dividend even though it's not covered for 3 years.

look at the balance sheet and gearing if the performance is sustained at present outlook and the dividend still gets paid. Remember to strip out intangibles (as the banks will) when calculating gearing.

It won't happen unles trading improves.

A "guaranteed" dividend is a strong supporting factor. I expect a continuation of the slow rise. Not really a shorting candidate, unlike Compass where the boys are having their fun..

Closed the short when 240 held. Out at 240.5. Will keep watch, but the institutions seem to like it. Surely not as daft as to treat it as carry in view of the dividend?

looks like a lot of support at that 240 level, my guess hedge funds buying level, or just above
