28/9/2005 16:18 | still trying to get it cheaper to be totally blunt with ya...prob just a tad too low for any decent £££ short returns :( | bellyboy2
28/9/2005 15:25 | belly, you short yet, or still just trying to talk price down to buy cheaper? | bot_man
28/9/2005 15:15 | not long till it breaks 240..... | bellyboy2
26/9/2005 09:23 | i saw that. bottom fishing then ;) | botman2
26/9/2005 08:56 | hedge fund millgate capital has snapped up 14m shares or 3.21%, buying when everyone else bailing out, smart or what? | botman begins
23/9/2005 18:28 | ah its a secret eh? | mroalan
23/9/2005 11:13 | botman - possibly this weeks bottom but will see lower than 240 in next month - i guarantee. anyway you should be telling me when we hit the bottom with a user name like yours!!! | bellyboy2
23/9/2005 11:01 | sitting on 240 now... is this the bottom? | b0tman
23/9/2005 10:56 | bellyboy, haha, beat your post by fraction of a second! | b0tman
23/9/2005 10:53 | any chance of a momentary rising blip on the back of possible orders for ECM's USA arm Allied elec after the hurricane season??? | bellyboy2
23/9/2005 10:53 | mroalan, agree with you on analysts, but these are not analysts - they are fund managers who invest billions for investors. they have to be responsible with investors money. i see franklin templeton have increased again, to 6.33%. what do they see that you dont? | b0tman
22/9/2005 13:35 | correct. i am easily more of a taurus than a paddington. to summise: the ECM service offer is market and world leading, and because of this are able to maintain stupid margins. problem: the UK market place is changing particularly in OEM sector who account for most of ECM's historic account base. solution: ECM will have to adapt. how long will this take? how long is a piece of string. twice as long as half its length! i expect this stock not to crash but to fall short term - but still remain confident in the long. | bellyboy2
22/9/2005 12:44 | bellyboy, what catches my attention is your assertion, in spite of being a bear, that "the business model has and always will be very strong". this is a very bullish comment. we know there are short-term problems, but if "the business model always will be very strong", that suggests that the problems are likely only to be short-term and supports managements statements and reasons for maintaining the dividend. regards, botman | b0tman
22/9/2005 11:39 | i have some contacts, don't get the juicy stuff though | bellyboy2
22/9/2005 11:35 | bellyboy, you appear to have a good knowledge of the industry. you on the inside? | b0tman
22/9/2005 11:21 | point taken, i suppose i lay in the observational camp rather than the trading camp per se. just my humble opinion talking to some people who work there. | bellyboy2
22/9/2005 11:04 | botman, i agree. a fall to below 200 would be a big move. as would a rise back above 300 ;) collection agency, mr o alan, do you know better than deutsche and silchester who apparently have increased the stakes? | botman2
22/9/2005 10:50 | Hi M! Your view is always much appreciated. Thank you. From today's RNS, it looks like the largest shareholder Silchester has increased their holding from previous 13.91% to 15.26%. A vote of confidence? | tokyogirl
21/9/2005 17:04 | deutsche have increased to 4.12% then, 3.19% last announcement in sept 2nd i believe | botman2
21/9/2005 15:09 | if i was so bearish i would have a huge short position, why wait? | botman2
21/9/2005 14:01 | bot_man/botman/botma i'm being a bottler on this one. contrary to my views i'm not gonna go short as once bitten twice shy. but will certainly be keeping an eye and will be more +ive when it breaks the £2 barrier. | bellyboy2 |
