09/9/2021 09:20 | Only thing to stop all these airline shares heading to zero is stop testing. Stop vaxxing. No passports. No restrictions | 1crackupboom
09/9/2021 09:18 | tlobs2..you do get a few on these threads! Airlines will have a much better ‘22 and better still in ‘23/‘24, expand the recovery period and buy at great entry points for a long term hold and reap in a few years, ignore short term noise and headless chickens etc | ny boy
09/9/2021 09:07 | New shares at 620 | 1crackupboom
09/9/2021 09:04 | At last the long expected fund raising has arrived | phillis
09/9/2021 09:04 | You do realise this is only going to plug a gap to see it through the winter….this isn’t investment in planes or slots, it’s just cash burn, destruction of shareholder value. If the U.K. is back in lockdown over the winter ( highly likely ) these could well end up with a four in front of them with so much dilution. If you want to play the airlines sector, use the Jets ETf USD, buy it sub 17 and trade it, fantastic instrument to play the covid trends without single airline exposure. On another note I think IAG will end up part nationalised, maybe RR too, IAG now has 12 billion in net debt and a huge pension liability, it’s about 150 today, I can’t get it to a value above its “ slots “ of about .60p. It is a screaming short, you could 3x your money, I may have to have a punt on it. | porsche1945
09/9/2021 08:59 | There is zero chance of BA being allowed by competition authorities to buy EZJ. Wizzair is the only credible bidder where it makes good sense from easy synergies.Wizzair has Eastern Europe sewn up and would love to add UK-Med holiday routes. | kinwah
09/9/2021 08:51 | Some rumours it was BA | cashandcard
09/9/2021 08:49 | Anybody know who the party was?... Possible offer The Board recently received an unsolicited preliminary takeover approach. This was carefully evaluated and then unanimously rejected. The potential bidder has since confirmed that it is no longer considering an offer for the Company. The indicative proposal took the form of a low premium and highly conditional all-share transaction which, in the Board's view, fundamentally undervalued the Company. In deciding to reject it, the Board took into account all relevant factors including the highly conditional nature of the proposal and the certainty and strategic opportunity that the Rights Issue presented to the Company. | diku

09/9/2021 08:02 | Looking at the chart 680 looks like a likely price for the new shares. | beergut
09/9/2021 08:00 | I would like to buy in the 600’s, being a bit greedy but will wait to see if that possible opportunity presents itself, meanwhile added (NEX) 234p as very close to support imo and a great pull back, presenting a good long term buying opportunity imo dyor | ny boy
09/9/2021 07:57 | My guess is the mystery bidder would be Wizzair. Both companies operate A320 family planes and have bases at Luton. Lots of potential synergy benefits and no obvious competition obstacles to overcome unlike Ryanair BA, Jet2 etc | kinwah
09/9/2021 07:53 | Did I tell you or did I tell you, the moment Hester was involved, ( he is a disaster wherever he goes even by dire dog index of the world ftse 100 standards of management ). Where is that web toed inbred Tlobs?? At the adult learning centre I’m guessing. Hahaha. | porsche1945
