23/9/2021 23:28 | ianood, maybe you should mention that to the underwriters, because none of them are on the current FCA listing for anyone short more than 0.5% of EZJ (see shorttracker). The people shorting this are hedge funds, plain and simple. What isn't plain and simple is how, just a minute or two after you posted your comment on here, when you and I are the only EZJ fans posting at this late hour, you have a 'like' on your rather silly post. I know that you have done that yourself. Seriously, what's the point? | danvandan
23/9/2021 23:16 | DVD - shorting is a perfect hedge for underwriters! | ianood
23/9/2021 21:51 | I think the reality is; £1.2bn in the bank so that it can limp along in loss-making mode until it's all spent. | danvandan
23/9/2021 20:05 | EZJ in a good place (now with an extra £1.2 Bln in bank)to capitalise on post covid travel boom: accumulate hxxps://www.rte.ie/n | cumnor
23/9/2021 16:58 | Institutional shorts continuing to climb; LMR and Guevoura increased their short positions yesterday by almost 0.5% of EZJ shares. Reported level of EZJ shorts is now 5.6% of shares, but that's just the reportable shorts (funds/investors with a short of more than 0.5%). Squarepoint are likely to still be there just under the reportable limit at 0.49% (making it 6.1% short) along with many others under the limit. My guess is that shorts went up again today. This could turn into a record short week for EZJ if it gets to 9%. If the smart money is correct, tomorrow will see a significant fall in the share price here. GLA. Especially milkey, I think he is going to need it. | danvandan
23/9/2021 15:30 | You are very gullible if you believe that. | macromike
23/9/2021 15:22 | ......but youtube are DvD | m1k3y1
23/9/2021 15:03 | I only click on links from trusted sources milkey, and you're not one of those. | danvandan
23/9/2021 14:42 | for DvD.... | m1k3y1
23/9/2021 14:28 | If you can't see the point, maybe YOU should stop posting. | danvandan
23/9/2021 14:24 | if it is hopeless negativity ......I don't see the point. What are you trying to achieve. | m1k3y1
23/9/2021 14:19 | Do you object to people posting a counter-argument to your hopeless optimism then? | danvandan
23/9/2021 14:09 | DvD I see you are on the IAG BB running down IAG also. If you don't own any EZJ or IAG shares why do you bother posting ? It seems obvious that you don't think airline shares are worth buying at the moment. | m1k3y1
23/9/2021 14:05 | Clearly you've never read the instructions from your broker on an EZJ rights issue where you have money committed. I'm just wondering which is more relevant right now... You're also not tackling the argument; just attacking the poster won't make EZJ's problems go away. | danvandan
23/9/2021 14:01 | Clearly DVD, you have never run a major enterprise business :-( | 1224saj
23/9/2021 13:56 | Yep, like a mutually beneficial deal between two drowning men who decide to stand on each other's heads. The only story of any relevance in aviation right now is how airlines are going to massively reduce their operations and future obligations, and raise new funding. The aviation pie has become a lot smaller. No one has faced up to this yet. IAG will not get out from under its debt burden and its pension deficit without drastic measures to re-capitalise and shrink its business. It will probably go broke first. Someone might end up buying the BA brand for a song. EZJ will blow its entire £3bn in 18 months trying to achieve viable restructuring and the maintenance of its business and then there will be a third rights issue. | danvandan
23/9/2021 13:44 | Dan....... I suggested "the opportunity for a mutually beneficial deal being agreed"........ I didn't say anything about handing over cash to IAG . | m1k3y1
23/9/2021 13:39 | Yeah, err right.... What are you smoking? EZJ already have more slots than they can use at Gatwick. As for EZJ's recently raised cash; they will be spending this themselves to keep the business going for the next year or two and then coming back to shareholders for even more. They will NOT be handing over cash to IAG. Airport landing slots will soon be getting a lot cheaper anyway, I reckon, because there will not be the same demand as there was pre-2019. | danvandan
23/9/2021 13:33 | EZJ have 3B in cash available , which is very attractive to IAG. BA have surplus slots at LGW which have a value. I can see the opportunity for a mutually beneficial deal being agreed. | m1k3y1
23/9/2021 13:04 | I wonder if BA will now sell the slots to Level..... BA Pilots would find it difficult to object, given that they have turned down the same opportunity. Alternatively, maybe the slots could be given to EZJ as part of some agreement to join the IAG Group. ? | m1k3y1
23/9/2021 12:40 | IAG not going ahead with plans for a low cost carrier at LGW. this should be beneficial for EZJ I am still anticipating further bids for EZJ possibly even an agreement with IAG, which must now be on the cards. | m1k3y1
23/9/2021 10:58 | The vampire squid has practically sold out from 5% a few days ago to almost zero on the 20th (check the RNSs today). I don't know if we'll get down to my target price by close tomorrow, but I feel sure we'll be somewhere around £5 by the time the new unbought new shares are offloaded to the market on the 28th/29th. Shorts on EZJ are rising to near record levels again. 5.74% on the reported short positions alone. GLA. | danvandan
23/9/2021 09:33 | #15221 IG cut-off was close on 21st Sep You’ll need to make your decision by 4.30pm (UK time) on 21 September – otherwise your entitlement will lapse by default | monte1 |
