08/10/2019 12:13 | If not today, it will fill the gap tomorrow. Buy the dip after a very positive update. Also oil price is low, so maintaining high profits won't be difficult. | andysaw
08/10/2019 11:58 | Sammy, despite one or two blips, the trend over the past few weeks has been upwards. A quick look at the charts might help you with further clarification ;-) | tlobs2
08/10/2019 11:38 | thing is Easyjet also sells holidays so arguably one can say it can built up on Thomas Cook's demise. | darius12
08/10/2019 11:32 | I think we've got different objectives actually, I'm wondering about the likelihood of this being the general bottom area for EZJ, as a result of the Brexit worry being worried out. No doubt it will jump about a bit - I agree the risk changes. Not sure if there any new risks to come that haven't been talked to death. If I recall correctly, the market temporarily went up when Boris got in and announced we were going to be out come what may on 31st. Removing the uncertainty in whatever way may be the catalyst that moves market sentiment in a more positive direction generally. | yump
08/10/2019 11:24 | ...and the purpose of those posts is what ? to show crass ignorance ? | yump
08/10/2019 11:15 | It is a high-risk BREXIT stock | sammyshares
08/10/2019 11:15 | EZJ will be affected more by BREXIT. | sammyshares
08/10/2019 11:12 | Can't people read ? Of course Brexit is an issue. That is not the same as Brexit having a continuing downward effect on shares. The history of the stock market is littered with issues that worry themselves out in terms of sentimental effect on share prices. We're not interested in Brexit are we ? We're interested in whether the share prices already contain all the worry or not. Or whether there is any new Brexit worry to emerge. Can anyone think of one ? How many times.....? | yump
08/10/2019 11:10 | The trend is your friend and it is a downtrend here. | sammyshares
08/10/2019 11:09 | sammyshares Try to engage brain and read what people have posted properly. That is very clearly not what I said. You'll get caught with the truancy, be careful. | yump
08/10/2019 11:08 | Of course Brexit is an issue. It has caused untold damage already chasing geriatric rainbows. | minerve 2
08/10/2019 11:06 | To say Brexit is not an issue is beyond stupid. It is an issue. | sammyshares
08/10/2019 10:56 | Brexit is a game for the brain dead. I don't care what others think. | minerve 2
08/10/2019 10:53 | Weak sterling (brexit) hitting easyjet, having to pay for fuel priced in dollars with trashed sterling, brexit, the gift that keeps on giving. | porsche1945
08/10/2019 10:50 | The issue with Brexit and whether to buy shares or not in general, is whether the worries about Brexit have been going on so long, that its no longer relevant to the share price. If you look back at the market around the times of anticipated and actual trouble in the past, it often recovers while the issues are still around. Its the new issues that do the most damage to share prices. | yump
08/10/2019 10:31 | From CityAM- "But it warned of a 12 per cent rise in costs owing to a volatile pound and higher fuel prices. Passenger numbers rose 8.6 per cent to 96m year on year thanks to a 10 per cent jump in capacity. But revenue per seat is set for a 2.7 per cent drop, the airline said, despite increased demand due to British Airways and Ryanair strikes, due to a forex hit of 14m." | stevedaytrader
08/10/2019 10:27 | Record passenger numbers? Significant increase in capacity, Profits at the higher end of expectations? What do these people want? ;-) | tlobs2
08/10/2019 10:25 | Revenue per passenger down, thats spook the airline sector. | montyhedge
08/10/2019 09:45 | Revenue per seat is king, derived from optimal market assessment and fast action | stevedaytrader
08/10/2019 09:31 | Brexit stops me from buying | gswredland
08/10/2019 08:45 | If I recall correctly the market had over capacity ? So reducing should help to keep prices real. Chartists will be saying that the double bottom W has to complete before next rise, not that that has anything to do with ezj update | yump
08/10/2019 08:38 | Pe of about 12 is not demanding. Ryanair on at least 14, perhaps much higher so a bit of an anomaly. | amt
08/10/2019 08:29 | I bailed yesterday as been stung on results too often and had a long wait from late 800s dip- sometimes build up increase is priced in and maybe expecting stellar performance with Thomas Cook etc. Cost per seat went wrong way was only thing negative- good long termer in my view- good luck to all | stevedaytrader
08/10/2019 08:28 | so why is it down? profit taking? I do know that easyjet always kind of opens 'rough'... | darius12 |
