Worry not Ryanair passengers, Easyjet will be there to pick up the pieces........ but not at Ryanair prices. and be quick, there are not many places left :-)



With all these strikes and hundreds of 737 MAX groundings for other airlines I get the feeling that the next trading update will be very positive indeed.

There is now a minimum of 4% short based on those over 0.5%. Based on 397m shares that is a huge hole to fill when the tides turn particularly when Stelios and his family hold such a large chunk of the remaining shares.

With 397.21 million out there that is now a whopping 16m shares that will need to be purchased. What price? 950p to start then rising to 1000p, 1100p, 1200p ????

Excellent news yump. It's about time these dead heads who let the country down with their loutish behaviour are blocked.

The Easyjet aircraft will be filled with a far better class of passenger who might actually be prepared to spend money whilst onboard :-)

EU proposals for 'Tourist Test' for UK if no deal...

Anyone heard about this ? Up to now the EU has had to accept UK tourists of all types, many of whom are pretty undesirable. If the free movement of people across the EU ceases, some member states are talking about a Tourist Test. Apparently particular attention will be paid to weight, alcohol level, dress (no sleeveless vests) and number and type of tattoos, on entering the holiday destination.

Speculation about a unity government yesterday to stop Brexit may

Tom89, the last rumour was Lufthansa due to the quality and size of the Easyjet network particularly after their takeover of Air Berlin.

Easyjet are a well respected profitable operation with significant assets in terms of routes, large fleet of aircraft and experienced staff.

Whoever it is that might be planning to put a bid in would be getting a bargain particularly at these prices.

It may well go lower, but with about 50 business days to go until B-day I don't think you'll see it fall every day. A few twists and turns yet.

Expecting a low before the leaving date as previously mentioned,
this is not a surprise event.
That being said, there remains a view leaving without a deal can still be stopped-
we will soon find out. So a hard Brexit is not fully factored in yet, at least
that's how I'm reading it. As multiple factors make up a daily share price
It's in general terms only.
