bor491, in terms of investment it's often better to leave
the emotions to one side.

Share prices often make a low while newsflow continues to weaken (provided the company is sound financially)
whether yesterday represented s significant low remains to be seen.

I'm not a doomster. I'm a realist. And I was a holder of Easyjet. I will not touch it until this bloody Brexit mess is cleared.

they can buy as much as they want but brexit is toxic.

lots of examples where directors have bought and lost a load unfortunately.

Theresa May is about to resign, a Brexit hardliner will likely take her place - that would hit the UK stock market hard in the short to medium term. If UK were to exit without an agreement it will take at least 5 years to recover.

This news on cheaper fuel prices should give Marshall Wace and BlackRock Institutional Trust something to think about ........ both of whom were around 0.5% short.

Jammad, i agree...lets hope they can shunt more of their biz to europe and maybe elsewhere, earn more hard currency too. Issue now is pound getting so hammered asset prices getting destroyed, inflation will take off again, BofE will only watch that for so long before they start ratcheting up interest rates to support it. Defo time to be unloading builders shares. What a self harming sxxtshow, only the brits could allow one half (morons) to tank the other half like this.

You make good points @Porsche1945, but I think these are excessive where EZJ is concerned. I just don't think of EZJ as that heavily British; they're well diversified in terms of income and flights already, with a track record that shows that if they need to attract more EUR/ CHF, etc custom, they are likely going to, smoothly. I think EZJ have been, and are, being hit harder due to Brexit fears than they should be. I'm long and will continue to be; as others have said, it's a spectacularly strong business that I think will shrug off the continued political and economic suicide. Remember the founder is/was an immigrant to UK shores (like me) so the company is, I suspect, infused with a borderless culture.
