UK inflation figures getting worse and worse, hitting the spending power of the man-in-the-street hard. This will impact significantly on disposable incomes for travel and flights.

Regards from Fuerteventura where it’s currently a very pleasant 22 degrees. The TUI flight out was full.

PS Good news, Marshall Wace LLP increased their short last week by about 440,000 shares it would appear. Good luck trying to buy those back at a profit lads and lasses.

Bad high street figures point to distinct incipient consumer weakness.

Oil prices on the up and up and up. This will spike aviation fuel prices

Interest rates have moved from a decade long decline into an upwards interest rate environment.


All pretty negative factors for the embattled no-frills sector.

Not looking good.

Everyone will have seen the market reaction to the Wizz results today and the EasyJet share price continues to fall.

Down 37p / 2.8%.

Good afternoon all. It looks like the stats confirm how well EasyJet have been doing over the past twelve months :-)

Any news on picking up any Monarch aircraft and slots on the cheap?

I see that Liberum have stuck another finger in the air again today and surprisingly come up with the same number again. How rather predictable their expert investment specialists appear to be. Who is the person or persons responsible for these predictions?

He, she or they should be presented with the "most far out so many times broker in a calendar year award" IMHO
