07/10/2017 06:58 | The standard of posts have taken a dramatic fall here and I am inclined not to bother anymore. Fortunately EZJ is one of those safe shares to tuck away and forget. Getting a nice yield and over time capital gains which historically have been way ahead of the market. Its been a very good week having said that so capital gains coming quicker than I could have hoped for and cannot think of a reason why they wont continue barring a deep recession in uk and Europe but some protection there as start from a low pe. Easyjet indicate market is growing at 5% and they aim at 6% so healthy growth making a nonsense of doom mongers reckoning there is over capacity. | amt

06/10/2017 15:01 | easyJet's shares down 1.3 pct; stock among top losers on the UK blue chip index <.FTSE> * Sees FY17 PBT of 405-410 mln pounds, at the higher end of previous guidance of 380-420 mln pounds - marginally above analyst consensus [nFWN1MG0O2] * Broker Panmure Gordon says stock is a "port in a storm" from the problems in the rest of the sector * Panmure says still harbours concerns over cashflow strains, which are overlooked at present * Q1 should continue to see RPS pressure; now models a 2.5% decline (2% previously) - Credit Suisse * "With Monarch's failure, Air Berlin's break up, Alitalia' s administration and Ryanair capacity cuts, we expect this confluence of positives must help EZJ pricing and model pricing ... despite UK uncertainty" - Credit Suisse * Liberum: Revenue trends are improving, but pricing remains under pressure | nick100

06/10/2017 14:34 | The market move on any Trading Update sets the tone, drives the momentum. Currently down 42p or 3.3%. The market judges the past but looks to the future. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
06/10/2017 14:17 | I do hope that a few of the shorters have increases their positions this morning. I have no doubt that it will come back to bite them on the @rse as the positive news flow continues :-) | tlobs2

06/10/2017 11:52 | Ignore tlobs he's just a paid pumper for a tea-leaf reading outfit (aka technical analysis firm). Ignore the idiot and get him on filter. | quepassa
06/10/2017 10:41 | Hope for you that you are right but have you seen how the shorts have been dramatically increasing their positions? They must be thinking that there will be lots of shares to buy back more cheaply and I guess that today's outlook would put the ball firmly in their control. In terms of glasses, you may need a couple of new pairs. One pair to lessen your utopia and another to lessen your myopia. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
06/10/2017 10:27 | QP talk about glass half empty. Yours must be completely empty. Just a bit of profit taking. | amt
06/10/2017 09:59 | Meanwhile in the real world, the share price is currently down 38p or 3% on today's very WORRYING OUTLOOK. The market judges the past but ALWAYS LOOKS TO THE FUTURE. With an outlook like that, the future looks somewhat bleak and uncertain. The bits about market CAPACITY and pressure on YIELDS cannot be ignored. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
06/10/2017 09:16 | Yes all very encouraging. Timed my recent buy very well for once. Good yield. Bit of profit taking then back to upward trend although you never know in these markets. Even my recent ridiculous punt in Bitcoin is on the up at the moment. Happy days to invest. | amt
