19/8/2024 08:07 | Davius, there was an overreaction in USA markets due to 1 report which led to recent buying opportunities in some of the MAG 7, you could also buy the index if you didn’t want the risk of a single share. Thing is do you think if the USA has a correction then it won’t affect U.K. shares? Because it does 100% and likely NVDA will rise above $140 before EZJ gets anywhere near its recent highs. Most on here are underwater with EZJ. Apple was a screaming buy a few months ago. You seem to think EZJ is a better run company that Apple or nvidia? both making profits hands over fist, the share price 500 smashes any of the U.K. indexes for growth. EZJ is volatile as well, strikes, conflicts and low margins, it’s a bit of a dog which its share price graph shows. Like I said in 6 months you may see the share price sitting 10% higher, but there is nothing to say it will not revisit 3.50p | noramping
19/8/2024 07:28 | > As for private investors, they are trading US stocks as it’s much easier these days > (plus no stamp duty), I held nvidia for 4 days and made 16.5% profit, I held Apple > for 6 weeks and made 20% Jeez there's some tripe posted on these boards. You can't equate being massively volatile with it being easy to make money. You could have just as soon lost those percentages. Those buying Nvidia at $140 when everyone said it was going to $200 are looking like fools now. Basically, people jumping in and out of these volatile US stocks are gamblers, nothing more, nothing less. Fine, if that floats your boat. Personally I buy shares for longer periods, weeks, months years. My gambling days ended with the financial crash. Yes, I hold EZJ, at around the current level. | davius
19/8/2024 07:19 | "EasyJet is faring much better than Ryanair, which last month reported a 46 per cent fall in profits for the three months to June and a dip in passenger demand. By contrast, EasyJet's chief executive Johan Lundgren revealed a 16 per cent rise in profits and said that his airline was 'on track to deliver another record-breaking summer" Seems quite straightforward to me. | sapphireblue1
17/8/2024 09:48 | Are easyJet shares a buy at this depressed level?https://www.th | livewireplus
16/8/2024 08:05 | It's the lack of private investors that I don't understand. This is a highly visible business that is seen and used by millions of people. | sapphireblue1
16/8/2024 07:47 | Sapphire..summer hols for traders probably, away from their desks on EzJ Holidays lol. Gla | philmac56
16/8/2024 07:02 | Likely will move up on open, market sentiment is good at present for soft landing in the USA. Also European money inflows to U.K. markets have increased, which is better for U.K. indexes and funds. This isn’t specific to EZJ | noramping
16/8/2024 06:33 | This share needs some energy into the Q4 update. Volume is so low that even a £5000 trade looks big against the trickle of nonsense A trades. | sapphireblue1
15/8/2024 19:13 | Perfect time to buy here folks... ignore the inane waffle! | dancing piranha

15/8/2024 13:12 | Good data out of USA, futures up, the reason for the increase in share price here | noramping
15/8/2024 11:26 | Hundreds of flights cancelled to key holiday destination by easyJet in passenger blow Airline easyJet hit by Portugal strikes as Jet 2 and Ryanair also tell passengers to expect delays due to weather and air traffic issues. | noramping
15/8/2024 10:57 | Ezj also supply no support in the hotels so customers have nowhere to go if they have issues as no reps, a few on here aren’t impressed with the service. | noramping
15/8/2024 10:55 | The company did a trading update, please explain why the share price is where it is? | noramping
15/8/2024 10:52 | Around 12-15% the holiday business is more profitable than the airline for 12-15% of the seats. I hope everyone can see where this is going | sapphireblue1
15/8/2024 10:50 | The difference between easyJet holidays growth and Jet2/TUI is easyJet grows from existing capacity. Jet2 seats are 70% holidays 30% flight only. Easyjet last year were 4% holiday 96% flight only. This year will be around 6% holiday seats. To double to 12% will require very little investment. Jet2 would need more aircraft more crew and massive investment. Jet2 block rooms at hotels at a preferential rate. Then if they don't fill them and the hotel doesn't buy them out Jet2 lose. Easyjet works from the other end. The hotel sells it's room at whatever price they want through the easyjet portal. Easyjet apply the flight, extras and profit and there's the offer This means that the rooms are available at good prices only on the dates the hotel wants bookings. Easyjet are not involved at all with the hotel. The guests are seen as private bookings. It's a wonderful platform. | sapphireblue1
15/8/2024 10:49 | TTNY, we will see about profitability in a few months when the report actual figures rather than sapphires ramping. They have losses to recoup before they actually start making profits, they may make a few hundred million for the year, not billions. Time will tell, it’s a wait and see, in the mean time the share price is likely going nowhere, never mind the £6 then £8 then the moon promised by some. Plenty of the rampers are underwater here, it’s in their interest to persuade others to buy to get them out of their hole. Datatit for one is massively losing here, he will bail if he gets anywhere near break even, then his second face will come out. I do own a few shares and sitting on a small loss, I can wait for the company to provide meaningful updates rather than the hype from some. | noramping
15/8/2024 10:24 | NorampingLooks at Easyjet last results re holidays. Fact. Profitable and significant growth.Clear differentiator between airlines like BA, Easyjet, Virgin and the Wizz and Ryanairs of the world.Reason to highlight is thar there is a big demand for holidays (i.e. growth). Not necessary TUI revenue, costs and profitability. | ttny2004
15/8/2024 10:13 | Every room full Costa del Sol. Malta it's Santa Marija so as expected the busiest weekend of the year. This the first time ever we have been at 100% occupancy in Spain. Easyjet allows us to fill all the gaps. | sapphireblue1
15/8/2024 09:54 | Every time I get close to buying in here something holds me back. Wizz are about to take a lot of the winter business travel out of Gatwick and Luton from EZY with this subscription. I think it's a very questionable idea for wizz, essentially a placing with obligations to fill seats. | trying2trade
15/8/2024 08:33 | Further evidence that holiday bookings booming as well as travel in general!https://news | ttny2004
