Price will be under pressure for the next few days/weeks as Easyjet is focused on European travel and this will be hit very hard until there is a resolution to this mess.

The usual fanaticism on this board (ezj fans). But this morning's price drop does seem like a perverse reaction by the market - record profit (inflation's got a lot to do with it), net cash (not much though, given the size of the business) and an optimistic forecast for the future (typical of Johan).

I'm guessing that the prospect of laying out for the new 'planes has caused this. But as I understand it, the purchase arrangements have options. It does seem strange to see that ezj has navigated its way past the pandemic, past a major European war, huge inflation, and after delivering the news that it is now making money and offering a dividend, the market immediately takes fright. What was everyone expecting? Maybe it's because that future dividend still won't beat an instant access saver account in a bank.

The price here might well recover over coming days - there's always been a lot of love out there for this share.
