03/7/2023 20:22 | I think many have got the outlook wrong here. LCCs do suffer in a tough market, but nowhere as much as legacy carriers or upmarket holiday firms. I would expect the Ryanair, easyJet and Wizz to be the winners in a downturn. Plus Jet2 and Easyjet taking more package holiday market share off the established giants like TUI.Cash | cashandcard
29/6/2023 07:22 | My comments on 16690 is the best I can make judging from the charts. The bottom of the flag is around 465 which has held as a support so far (tested recently). Also the 200ema is also around 465 which has acted as support since March. Not sure which way the share price will break - depends on how the market holds in July. Some reports I have read are predicting market weakness until sometime in August, but who knows! | kktj
28/6/2023 12:58 | Interesting chart. Any Chartist on board? | rudder
23/6/2023 15:46 | Really? Where did you read this? | foreverbull
23/6/2023 15:15 | People coming out of a fix mortgage will be hard hit and remember the whole point of raising rates is to reduce disposable income so holidays are likely to be hit. Having said all that holidays will be the first thing people spend their money on when things improve. I am a long term holder | buying
23/6/2023 14:40 | not everyone has a mortgage. only people who bought after 2018 have a mortgage problem imo | dealy

23/6/2023 13:23 | I'm seeing lots of UK stocks getting hit - could it be the 5% central interest rate hitting prices? | farrugia

23/6/2023 13:16 | JP Morgan said gold would trade at $750 ozThey are flogging their own book | porsche888
23/6/2023 12:54 | dealy,They might be full now as most people will have paid for flights prior to a surge in interest rates, Next year they will be giving holidays away imeo, at about a tenner a seat profit you need hell of a lot of bums on seats to make a heavily indebted airline pay, with rates going up they will need more money to cover there debt it doesn't take much to topple companies with debt, higher interest rates could be the nail in the coffin, when times get tough people don't go on holiday, that .5% rate rise yesterday will see to that, ezj are in a very very competitive market, people don't need to travel but they do need to eat & keep a roof over their heads! | jugears
23/6/2023 12:47 | Maybe because higher mortgage payments will stop people booking holidays | buying
23/6/2023 12:44 | Not sure as to the drop today, probably just dragging with ftse as everything is looking great here | doobz
23/6/2023 12:40 | Is this share price anticipating a UK/EU recession? Every flight is full these days | dealy
19/6/2023 15:47 | JPMorgan raises easyJet price target to 550 (530) pence - 'neutral' Davy raises easyJet price target to 750 (600) pence - 'outperform' | kktj
16/6/2023 14:51 | Sp above around 530 will be breaking out of the flag pattern since Jan. The pole of the pattern would add around £1. I can see that happening if the market holds and as rolo7 says, maybe a step in ftse 100 direction.... edit - got my poles wrong! Should add around £2.... | kktj
16/6/2023 13:51 | Finally a break out fste 100 chance in September?! | rolo7
16/6/2023 09:36 | Strong demand today, something brewing? | johndoe23
08/6/2023 09:50 | Bypass all the port chaos and go by plane - possibly a sensible move. | netcurtains
01/6/2023 07:29 | easyJet pulled their base at NCL a while back and now only have flights from Bristol and Belfast and summer from Palma. Ryanair stepped in to take up a lot of their slots. easyJet baggage policy must now be similar to Ryanair. | masher69
31/5/2023 20:01 | Easyjet has also added massively to its profitability by reducing the size of free hand luggage to a truly minute bag that has to go under the seat in front of you. Everything larger than this you have to pay for. Kerching! | undervaluedassets
31/5/2023 12:05 | Oil $67.48 airlines biggest cost just keeps falling. Bigger profit margins. | montyhedge
