DEC bought over 48k shares on Buyback for the very first time - for the past many months , DEC daily buyback was 3750 only - yet 48k share buy back even push the share price up but broke through the £10 support level. -
The management runs out of any good idea but just throwing away shareholders money by doing the buyback daily just to cover the Management Board. a…. !!!
I give up . Time to cut my loss as I see no future , given enough time since 2022 !!!!!! The duck is dead in the water

dec has a habit of having, retaining, buying small stakes. on hand inside info, first right as a buyer probably, selling its services to the partner i assume ... and they used their min stake as a start several times in their deals...

ps - i call the bottom of the ng prices ... 3 of my ng shares are involved in the industry consolidation. so i started to look around. consolidation usually is THE sign of the bottom

and dec is consolidator

yesterdays deal - separate undeveloped acres buyer will need lots of pipelines after his development takes place --- dec will be providining market access .... at a profit

also i would think ... after the acres get developed ... dec could buy it all... as that is their modus operandi. they already bought 5 % which is rather strange ... if no further plans

i would be interested on the data ... like in the wells shut down and restoration business - which would tell us how much money dec is getting by utilisation of pipelines, compressors and separators for the third parties ... as i assume it is not that marginal at all

imho long term srategic thinking... when the fruit is ripe and they have cash capacity ... then they strike

what i find very encouraging is - the industry sellers are taking on dec shares as a currency ... they would know if the currency has value or is just a paper fiction

Now, some will call that technical trading and not fundamentals related

But it wholly is. Its the money acting on fundamental views, tracked on a chart

As fundamental as is real time possible

Def going beck to 10s

But the problem is what drives it there from high , which means secondary price (10a) rarely hold and so sink to primary price

See anyway . Not like it will play out in a day . Will need news of good value though

Week commencing June 3rd ...draw a line at close. It was a x2 retrace

Fast forward to the latest 3 weeks and see how it acted at that price ?
Typically its call to lower block that shorters can keep holding

The problem with the recent 1 week rise to high, was that it formed 6 the following week

So that was retrace assured. Fair enough. Retrace natural in any bull market. But when it feeds into monthly? Bad

...

Now at 4. Unprecedented here, for whatever reason which I do not know

8 work days left in the month. So umi think you need something spectacular within days, not to visit the -60+% black

I get that. But wben the next block is 63% below the current SP, can get a bit messy long term too

#Tag57, it has been a thorn in my side (-30% WHT) since 2021, but now SI seem to be on the same page as most providers (-15%), at last.. :o)

I see the new acquisition has gone down well, the recovery was looking good at 1200/1300 and now here we are again down at c1000..

116 cents dividend a year is slowly helping recover some of the capital losses for holders from 2021, but it is taking time to do so..

Not sure who else might be holding these inside a B-SI ISA, but my last dividend came in at -15% WHT, previous dividends were always -30% so they must have had a policy shift and does save the aggravation of separating this from a PF to minimise the WHT losses, can anyone confirm they also benefited from this..?

"Assets Acquired at Attractive Valuations

The Acquisition's estimated NTM EBITDA of ~$19 million represents a 3.5x purchase multiple and reflects an attractive valuation of PV-18 for the PDP assets, excluding the undeveloped acreage.

The Assets include 331 net PDP wells (total) and are expected to add 21 MMcfepd (4 MBoepd) of production and 70 Bcfe (12 MMBoe) PDP reserves with a PV-10 of $89 million. Additionally, the production profile of the Assets is highly complementary to the Company's existing portfolio and operational strategy, with low annual production declines of ~15% for the next twelve months(b).

The Assets are in close proximity to the Company's previously acquired East Texas assets and provide opportunities to realize synergies attributable to operating scale and asset density."

Contributors to this board previously identified the potential for add on acquisitions. Rusty seems to be on the same page.
