12/7/2024 09:01 | Nice to positive movement but I think still short of breakout territory for me ahead of H2 rssults. Not sure why share purchases seem to be a predictable 3,750/day? Hardly enough to swing momentum? Earlier posts talked of limits on NYSE but surely the RNS we receive in UK is just UK transaction? Others might know what's going on share purchase wise in US jurisdiction? Many thanks | mindthestash

11/7/2024 14:33 | F I R S T Q U A R T E R 2 0 2 4 - - M A Y 3 1 S T 2 0 2 4 Goehring & Rozencwajg Natural Resource Market Commentary GOEHRING ROZENCWAJG Natural Resource Investors1 We believe the North American natural gas market has reached a turning point. Significant shifts now taking place carry profound investment implications for the next twelve months. Our stance, which was cautious for almost a decade, turned bullish in the first quarter of 2020 when Henry Hub was at $1.43 per thousand cubic feet (mcf ). In our 1Q20 letter, we wrote an essay titled “The Bull Market is Here,” stating: “If production were ever to falter, a massive bull market would result. That moment has arrived.” By summer 2022, Henry Hub gas surged more than six times, eventually reaching $9.68 per mcf as Russia’s invasion of Ukraine spread fears of a global natural gas shortage. However, back-to-back warm winters and an ill-timed fire at a US LNG export facility overwhelmed the nascent bull market and gas retracted its entire move, selling off to within five cents of the June 2020 low. Although it may seem like a strange time to write a bullish lead essay on natural gas, it was equally strange to make a bullish call in the spring of 2020, immediately before gas rallied 553%. 11/7/2024 14:31 | I was surprised to see that my stock broker has taken 30% withholding tax from my recent DEC dividend, instead of 15% as I have an active W8ben. Iweb have just informed me that for 3 stocks, DEC, Somero and Spectaire, that they are unable to reclaim 1/2 of the 30% withholding tax therefore I still have to pay the 30% withholding tax on my DEC dividends even though I have an active W8ben. Has any poster on this thread with an active W8ben, their broker reduced tax on their DEC dividends from 30% to 15% or are all still paying the full 30% withholding tax? | loganair
11/7/2024 12:29 | Gas prices are on their back, total US production falling, and new export facilities built. It should be a good time for DEC to acquire capacity. Well run companies set themselves up in the lean times. | 1knocker
11/7/2024 12:21 | Potentially nice uptrend forming now that US volume seems to have taken over control and broken the 16-month downtrend. free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | aleman
