Am I correct in thinking Henry Hub spot price of USD 2.085/MMBtu is about GBX 16.38 /therm (compared to GBx 95.76/therm in the UK)? A multiple of x5.85! It seems a huge anomaly.

I know: the US government is limiting exports; LNG compression and transportation is a big cost; The UK government wants to close the North Sea and is not interested in onshore fracking; The EU is buying less gas from Russia. but still ... a huge anomaly!

The UK politicians seem to have dropped the ball on energy security.

It seems to be following the gas price as it has done previously. This ignores the hedging. In the end quite a few factors affect US gas prices.

The sell off here mirrored sell off in US gas stocks like CVE - on 2nd Q results - even though results were ok or even good by some analysts. HH at $2 even with a lower inventory build than usual .

9 months on from selling over 1m shares here at 92p and 70p. The only great regret was not selling sooner when the placing was announced or after the cfo resigned suddenly. There was never gong to be another placing after the outcry following the first.
Why don't they rename themselves again . Flip flop energy fits. Remember the Oaktree deal with great prospects. Just a few years later they painted leaving the deal as a victory. Share price 60p, dividend cut by two thirds. Untrustworthy.

JusticeDo you have any evidence for your posting?Anyone can short anything. If they are wrong the price will rise and they lose money. What is the problem you can see? What is the basis of your complaint?
