22/2/2005 09:24 | Well I have just taken my first bite. Current valuation does not seem too over stretched but not a bargain either. I guess I am happy as long as the results are in line with expectations as I am working on the assumption that this will be a long term steady growth business and I guess that once it has proved the predictability of its earnings stream going forward it will be able to command a higher rating. | salpara111
17/2/2005 23:01 | It remains on my watchlist till later ;o) | m.t.glass
17/2/2005 21:11 | MT Glass was their biggest proponent on here; then he sold many of his recently due to personal/seasonal factors. However a lot of investment houses have taken stakes. I think this is a share for the long haul. | mryesyes
16/2/2005 11:27 | Does anyone have any idea as to the reason for the recent drop in DTY, other than the awaited preliminary results? | wonderboy
11/2/2005 13:08 | At first glance APF looks to have risen a bit too far recently. Maybe you are thinking to buy in the Summer for less. You must have sold DTY at 360p. I feel that everyone is now going to wait for DTY results before buying more thinking there will at least be more clarity and certainty post results and may be a wobble or two to buy cheap | mryesyes
10/2/2005 22:12 | Lots of cleverer ones around who I try and learn from ;o) | m.t.glass
10/2/2005 16:33 | It's a shame in a way cos I've noticed over Christmas is one of the most lucrative times of the year to hold, when the armchair investors take over from the normal market. What is this lark with greenunderlining this happened on mwh where I warned them on their wallets. -------------------- I will look up APF as I think you are a clever person | mryesyes
09/2/2005 18:51 | True. I am a fulltime trader watching the screen all day in the winter months. Come the summer I shall switch from trader mode to investor mode (except for the odd flurry) and DTY is among the likely contenders for stocks to then be held for those 6-7 months. (APF another) (and PAP of course) | m.t.glass
09/2/2005 17:46 | I didn't sell any of my 5,500. I hope I do not meet the fate of the bilical character who buried his pennies in the ground (no pun intended on burials) I think the Ann Robinson thing turns on time; if you do a 9-5 job plus and have a wife and kids and buy offline then hopping in and out isn't possible if you own say a hundred stocks (also lampooned for that I know) At the moment the market is rising very fast and faster than the FTSE 100 implies (or any of the indices IMHO) certainly I have picked well | mryesyes
09/2/2005 08:30 | Taken some profits today | chester
03/2/2005 15:46 | As indeed is Morley judging by today's announcement. | superdealer
03/2/2005 06:40 | MT - I like your style of investing. I still hold quite a few and happy to have them. | chester
03/2/2005 00:13 | Hi Mr - I refer the honourable gentleman to my earlier post 129 (11 Jan) from where the break has taken it upwards by 30p = 9%. A handy little gain which I duly banked. I still have a position though. (My tactics in cashing gains along the way are more to do with a specific mission I am on for this quarter and not a reflection on the stock)(and if Ann Robinson is watching, it's no good her preaching how much more I could have made if I hadn't repeatedly banked ;o) ;o) mtg | m.t.glass
02/2/2005 17:38 | No comment from M.T. Glass recently on the effortless rise of this stock, yet to report any actual full year numbers. I think its still a buy at £3.50 but I'd hate to see it slip on financial banana skins. I have 5,500 shares | mryesyes

26/1/2005 17:19 | If it carries on like this it will be £7 in 2 years time. Fact, | mryesyes

21/1/2005 10:33 | There was a mention, I believe, in Shares Magazine this week, can't remember where I saw it though. Don't read the mag. Did anyone see it - was it positive? | old twit
21/1/2005 09:02 | Dignity and SSE have been my two favourite and most reliable shares for some time. | wonderboy
20/1/2005 07:54 | What a beautiful chart this one has. | chester |
