That is a very good point. Assuming the technology issues have been fully mastered, the sky is the limit for the external monitoring

I recall when Deltex first got publicity on the BBC a few years ago it looked like a billion dollar valuation was on the cards. Its been a long and disappointing haul since then. The problem that the monitors were invasive and so they never took off as expected. Now they have a non incasive product the original vision is there to go for.

Great summary schloo. Yes it seems sales are about to take off and good sales of the new monitor should see them back to cashflow positivity.

2022 results released. 2022 numbers as previously announced. Four main positives looking forward.

1. Half the cash burn was on R&D which will reduce a lot once new monitor launched
2. New monitor launch predicted within two months and there seems to be a decent pipeline
3. Promised big distributor order is being built via orders on distributor and should also be within two months
4. Long overdue but emphasis now firmly on monitor rather than probe sales. Just as well as probe sales continued to decline everywhere

Main concern is cash: the burn was higher than it was five years ago to achieve about 60% lower sales. But new monitor should fix that that at both ends of the equation. Not much sign of cash been piled into building inventory of the new monitor but hopefully that is just not apparent because margins will be so high

The December update was clearly over optimistic talking about weeks until new monitor and large orders received rather than months. But it is now only about 8 weeks. I was probably premature to buy another 1,000,000 shares then, but, suppose they would cost over 20% more to buy today so not the end of the world and expect them to go up strongly over the next few weeks

Wise and calming words thank you. Should hope the new monitor is imminent. I went to an investor day in Chichester at least six years ago and saw the prototype!Agree they should learn from Lidco. They got a new chair, new Board, new monitor, new marketing story and, lo and behold, new owners at over 10p.MrC

Hi mrC2u, no I don't think they were trying to mislead the market. DEMG have always been ultra cautious in their RNSs that was until the Dec update, I believe the new monitor isn't far away it's just taking longer than anticipated, and as for the additional contracts I hope their still in the pipeline? and can get them over the line soon. As you well know the Co has been on the verge kicking on for many years but fails to deliver. DEMG is patience personified, perhaps they need to take the Lidco route to get their medically accredited IP to a broader market.

So that is 3 months since the upbeat December statement. No sign of the major orders and no new monitor. Were they deliberately misleading the market? Smells wrong from here.Oh and yet another 3 months without a new chair. And there is absolutely a link to the first point.MrC

Strange trading amounts, is someone having a laugh, yesterday it was 999 and today it's 666 what next, perhaps a 1 trade lol? My hope is the 500k person returns just like last week, oh and of course the new monitor RNS.

More interest bagged by N Keen. Seems he will not retire so needs to be booted out. Who by? It's not going to be the lickspittles on the Board, is it? Suppose this is prudent but doesn't not show much urgency towards the years overdue exit, does it?Oh, and where is the news we do want?MrC

Not the RNS I was hoping for, however just noticed that the loan notes can be exchanged for shares @ 4p, would be nice to think the share price was north of that soon!!

Can barely remember who was Prime Minister and certainly had more hair (not to mention more cash) when I first bought into these so can put a big fat tick in the patience box along with all you other ageing citizens. But there have many times more PMs than DEMG chairs or fresh NEDs since then!

Agree but can understand the impatience, they said weeks in the Dec release it's now almost 2 months, and what about the potential contracts, DEMG in the past hasn't done bullish till the last 2 releases..

There you go. Promise good news and then don't bother to follow it up... and the price drifts. Where is the leadership? Needs a new chair to get a grip.MrC

There must be different income stream models.
Pay per probe if disposable
Pay per access to monitor if reusable
Pay monthly fee if hardware intial outlay too heavy
Etc
