Posted at 25/6/2024 08:39 by mrc2u BigTWas it your £279 that bought the 200,000?I have just put a couple of quid on a Conservative overall majority at 250:1 and plan to put the winnings into DEMG shares even if there in change in chair.MrC |
Posted at 12/6/2024 09:27 by mrc2u The victims of last year's dilution should watch the news very closely. DEMG has assiduously avoided giving any numbers re new box sales. It will look very bad indeed if these turn out to be good and they have stuffed themselves full of cheap options a couple of weeks before news that sends the price rocketing. This smells.MrC |
Posted at 05/6/2024 13:27 by schloo There's a very good chance. Indeed a sale to a major has, realistically, been the only sensible strategic option for the company since the NHS/NICE failed to see through their implementation schemes 10 years ago. The best time to sell will be with a new monitor selling well. The core Doppler technology is well differentiated and reimbursed in the US. The new non-invasive Doppler technology opens up all sorts of opportunities all over the hospital and, eventually, other health settings. The platform approach which offers all the main technologies in one box means DEMG finally have a product that appeals to a big company as they can, for the first time, become the sole suppliers of hemodynamic monitoring to whole hospitals and whole hospital systems.Last year's massive and massively discounted fundraise was a disaster for long term holders, particularly those, like me, who couldn't follow. The governance questions raised by it do not appear to have been asked at all. I suppose they never will be on AIM and the changes made since are token at best. Has there ever been a company with a more obvious need to bring fresh faces on to a Board, starting with the Chair? However, that does not mean that one of the big boys should not buy this for 10, 20 or more times the current price in the next year or two. |
Posted at 04/6/2024 09:08 by mrc2u It certainly was not jam yesterday. DEMG announced it won the NHS tender way back in 2012. Since when its UK sales have fallen by about 90 per cent. Still, those were happier days. We could live in Europe, we had austerity, the London Olympics, Bradley Wiggins winning the Tour de France and a DEMG share price around 25p. I make that 200 times higher than today's price.MrC |
Posted at 08/5/2024 08:32 by mrc2u Indeed. If the sales are going to £1.1m this year, then £2.2m is a lot. If they are going to be £4m, then it is minuscule. They should be a lot nearer 4 than 1 but we have absolutely no way of guessing. BTW I have looked at a few early stage UK medtechs recently and all are going for FDA before CE because it's quicker and US is a better market. Why is DEMG doing the opposite?MrC |
Posted at 24/4/2024 09:56 by gbenson1 I've mentioned this before, but on a normal trading day ie with no RNS DEMG share don't seem to start trading until about 1030 hrs thought it might be a MMs thing? |
Posted at 22/4/2024 13:18 by nobbygnome So I presume you are using some sort of derivative. If so, Spreadex will let you take out spreadbets on DEMGOh and I am far from certain Lupuzor will work in the current trial so wouldn’t hold for the results…but of course that is 2-3 years away |
Posted at 22/4/2024 13:11 by greedfear Saxo. It’s financially not attractive enough for them to accept DEMG orders, thus they tell me it doesn’t fit all kind of rules regarding risk. Degiro doesn’t accept my orders as well. Lynx (IB) same story.Hm. Maybe I’ll take a look at it then. I still recall you warning people for IMM going to fail regarding lupus. People hated that. You were right after all. |
Posted at 22/4/2024 11:11 by nobbygnome Which broker won’t let you buy DEMG? That seems very strange…And I am not in IMM but just acknowledged that despite all the delays and issues with the Lupuzor trial, the company is looking cheap |
Posted at 03/4/2024 12:57 by mrc2u Wow! Had no idea that is what has been going on. There must be, what?, £50,000 of cash from exiting DEMG investors in the last couple of weeks so your share is bound to soar with such sizeable new backing.MrC |
